We are sorry to inform you that Candle (Candle wax cat) passed away today around 7pm. This is his 14th days with us, unfortunately he was too weak to make it after the emergency

😿We found a kitten around 3-4 month old suffering from candle wax all over the body last Wednesday afternoon. He barely can see, wandering around on the street and meowing for help in desperation.💔💔

We took him into care. He got pain killer and IV fluid to stable the health condition so far. However, removing the candle wax is a very time consuming process.

We named this poor kitty Candle, wishing him gets back to health soon.

We appreciate any amount in helping Candle with us 🙏

Update on Korn: 😺Thank you everyone for help Korn to get her surgery done. Korn had discharged from the vet Sunny Animal Hospital　មន្ទីរពេទ្យសត្វសាន់នី on May 3, and is now under recovery care.
The total expenses for Korn's vet bill: $563

Thank you to Komrong Koun Miao and the fantastic team members Ginevra Wilcox, Maria, Srey Neth, and John for hosting the 'Silent Auction' last month in April 2024, thank you to the sponsors of the event, as well as everyone who came out to support the event.

❤️❤️The fantastic KKM teams had raised $1,000 for Catera to care for our 65+ rescue cats at the cafe and during quarantine stays.

❓How can the $1,000 funds help us in keeping the resident cats? It will greatly help us in

✅feeding 65 cats for 3 months with the basic food they need to survive
✅ or desexing around 20 cats
✅ or giving core vaccines to over 40 cats to prevent the cats getting sick
✅or giving rabies to over 100 cats
✅ or reduce some of our vet bills
(we have helped up to 300 cats since 2021, also we are in debt to the vets $8,000+ from year 2022)

Thank you for everyone having a kind heart to join Catera in helping the street cats in Cambodia. Together let’s build a better life for the street cats. 🙏

Korn had her bone surgery done at Sunny Animal Hospital　មន្ទីរពេទ្យសត្វសាន់នី today at 7pm, she’s waking up from the anesthesia. We will keep you updated on her recovery.

‼️Update on fundraising for Korn surgery
As of Apr 28, we have raised total $405, we are in short of $95 to make the payment to the hospital.

‼️Raise Funds for Bone Surgery for Korn‼️

😿Korn was rescued in BKK1 on March 19, 2024, according to the people there, she suffered an accident long time ago and has been not able to walk properly.💔

😿😿Following an X-ray, we discovered that her pelvis and joint were fractured. ‼️She need immediate bone surgery to repair the fracture in her pelvis. We leave it like that, the fracture may result in her inability to poo in the future.

To schedule the surgery as soon as possible, we urgently need your help in raising funds for Korn. 🙏Sunny Animal Hospital　មន្ទីរពេទ្យសត្វសាន់នី will do the bone surgery for her at a discounted price to help our animal rescue work.
