What a great first 4-H fair experience the girls have had so far this week!

Started out with showmanship on Sunday and the rabbit show today!

Addy & Emmalee had a great time despite the heat and some of their best bunnies deciding to UGLY molt!

Here are the show results…we won’t get the showmanship & poster contest results until the awards ceremony on Thursday.

Thank you to the show committee for a great job and a very well run show! Thank you to Judge John Graybeal for recognizing the girls’ rabbits despite the heat, molting & bad behavior of a particular contrary black buck who shall remain nameless! (I still think he was retaliating for Addy dressing him up as a bunch of grapes for animal dress up 😎)

Excited to post a little baby update… SUPER excited that it looks like Bunch’s Sharma (chin) x Petunia Patch’s Jag (black) gave us a CHIN (WOOOO HOOO) and a pair of silver martens!!!

I waited longer than I wanted to breed her hoping for the perfect buck…looks like we had him in the barn all along!

Just want to give a HUGE shoutout to Shelly at All Things Bunnies!!

My tattoo pen was not staying connected correctly, making it very hard to tattoo! Shelly shipped me out a replacement and now it’s working perfectly!!

Got our show reports today and super excited to see that this beauty, EZDaes Holysmokes picked up 2 more GC legs last weekend with her Best of Breed & Best Opposite wins at the Juniata Valley shows in PA.
