MG Sporthorse Diamond Lights (Poppy) born this morning at 1245 (by our resident Welsh Cob Stallion Cwmkaren Beaufort Express (imp) x Sophia (Tb by Jimmy Choo) stunning wee filly unfolding nicely and developing quite a cheeky wee personality.

Mr Sylvester (Tywysog Caradog) Ballytruckle Grace x Cwmkaren Beaufort Express (imp) now home at Maes Gorllewin Stud. His full sister, Ballytruckle quicksilver (Sylvia) is most intrigued with her new little brother… dunno if it is her brother that has her so interested or if it is having her mummy here!

A lovely new big welsh baby boy born this morning for MaesGorllewin Welsh Cobs. (Ballytruckle Grace x Cwmkaren Beaufort Express imp) this wee fella is my Ballytruckle mare, Quicksilver’s (Sylvy) full brother.
I Always wanted another Sylvy and now I have one but a boy lol 😍😍Have named him MaesGorllewin Tywysog Caradog.

It has been such a wet month here at Oxford. Moved Beau this morning to a new drier paddock. Finally off the mud …. One VERY happy stallion to be on the green stuff and no mud.

A thick foggy start to the day this morning. Fencer arrived to thump in the poles for the construction of the tease wall!

Mr Beau very relaxed with his new paddock. Was a chilly 2° start this morning in Oxford so a nice hot brekky for him. Moved the other lot into the paddock over the race from him and they all just looked over the fences at each other then got on with eating grass.

Ballytruckle Quicksilver and her Son MaesGorllewin (?) (Awaiting registration) paddock name Max, peering over the fence to see who the new one in the paddock is.
I did tell Sylvy her Dad was coming to live here.
Beau certainly stamps his look doesn’t he? Like father like Daughter!

Eagerly awaiting the arrival of Cwmkaren Beaufort Express (imp) to arrive from Auckland in Oxford Canterbury where he will be standing at stud.
Last update from Majestic Horse transport is that he will be arriving at their depot in Yaldhurst Christchurch at around 8pm tonight and will he delivered to The stud in Oxford at 0930 tomorrow Morning.
