Dogs are best friends for life!

Max was a Christmas puppy that someone didn’t want anymore. Most likely, Max arrived in the trash to the mountain where the Grinch lived. He was discarded by the Whos along with other Christmas gifts.

The fact that the Grinch rescued and raised Max after he was thrown away as a puppy would also explain why Max tolerated the grumpy green creature after all the abuse.

A loyal friend to the end!

He is finally at peace! Don't Shop. Adopt.

"Yesterday I adopted the oldest, and sorest shelter dog. I'll never forget his eyes. When I went into the cage he didn't even bother to look, he knew I wouldn't even see him.

Curling around the corner He'd accepted his fate. The volunteer said to me many times... Are you sure this one? Are you sure? YES! This is my dog. He opened the cage and 3 animals fell on me. I ran towards him, suddenly he looked at me as if he saw an angel... I hugged him and told him that now he'll be happy again. Then he sleeps in my lap... probably the first peaceful sleep he ever had.

Give it a life. Give it a hug. They need us."

Every shelter pet leaves a special imprint on our hearts, whether they're with us for a few hours, days or months. Goodbyes can be bittersweet, but each adoption reaffirms that the right match is out there for every pet — even if it takes a little longer to find them!

The other day, Ibrahim was heading off to school in the city of Grozny, Chechnya, when he spotted a pair of stray dogs warming themselves in the morning sun. He could have easily just continued on his way, paying the dogs no mind.

"Today on my way home from work I found this kid in the middle of the road. I looked to see if he belonged to anyone, if he had other dogs with him... Nothing... He was alone and crying non-stop. We went to the vet, he didn't have a chip and so I decided let's be a family! We came home and I put him to bed...He's sleeping so deep, calm and happy. His first photo happy... And I want many more to follow. Thank you for coming into my life! Animals choose us. .."❤
