Hola La Paz! If anyone is driving south through the Los Angeles area we have some crates that are being held for us. If you have room for one or more crates please contact us at [email protected] and we can arrange someone to meet you on the I-5 freeway for a handoff. The crates are nested together so you can put items inside to save room. Thanks for any help you can provide!

Thanks to volunteers who helped us get needed supplies to our clinic! This is a suitcase filled with medical supplies and brought down from the Canada thanks to Rick Batchelor Susan Batchelor Teddy Rooles . Thanks also to Not Just Tourists for making it all possible. Any supplies we cannot use will go to those vets to involved with Baja Dogs Sterilizations, to the local public hospital, and the paramedicos. NOTHING will be wasted!

Interested in macrame? Like plants? Come to a class on November 23rd at 3:30 pm and plant your succulent and make a hanger that you can take home. We provide the materials - you just come and enjoy yourself. Click the link below for tickets and more details including map to the location. All proceeds help fund the care of the rescued dogs in our program.

Learn a little about succulents and take a class in macrame - go home with a beautiful plant and hanger. Enjoy the afternoon and save a life all at the same time!

Our US charity, Hope 4 La Pawz is registered with Not Just Tourists making it easy for travelers to bring much needed supplies south with them to our clinic. Please consider helping if you can.

We are registered with Not Just Tourists - contact them to find a chapter near you - they will send you with a suitcase of much needed supplies for our clinic.

Thanks to Siempre Friki BZR for this great event and to all of the organizers.

Dog food was donated and split among the rescue groups.

We saw friends from other groups and enjoyed a nice evening. If you missed it, make it a point to come next year. It is a great event and awesome to see so many who care about the street animals of La Paz.

Thanks to all of the Amigos de 4 Patas volunteers and rescatistas who came out and worked so hard during that event. You are all my heroes!

Thanks to everyone who came out for our garage sale today a KM 14 to support us and to Jorge from the KM 14 Restaurant for the use of his parking lot. We earned $5940 MXN - not our best sale but every little bit helps. We need to cover preventive meds for the dogs in our program which runs about $7,288 per month for our caseload of 60-70 dogs.

To be clear, the money earned from these events goes directly toward the care of the dogs - we buy vaccines, meds and tests at vet prices, and we pay our vet directly for administration of these as well as other procedures such as dental work, sterilization and other surgeries, treatment for TVT, etc. None of the rescatistas / fosters receives any funds. Yet all of them help by volunteering in addition to the rescue work they do.

To all of the volunteers who helped us -- my heartfelt gratitude as always. We could not do it without you!

Hello La Paz! We will be having a Garage Sale on Sunday, October 13. Time is 8 am - 1 pm in the parking lot of Km 14 Centenario.

You can help in two ways: if you have gently used items you would like to donate toward the sale, drop them off at Amigos de 4 Patas Store Wednesday through Saturday from 10 am - 2 pm.

Come out to the sale and shop -- all proceeds go towards helping the rescued dogs in our program. We have some special cases that really need help - like surgery for little Hope rescued from a hoarding situation a few weeks ago or Harpy who needs 3 rounds of chemotherapy for TVT.
