As the 4th of July holiday approaches, here are some tips to keep your furry loved ones safe from noisy fireworks:
-Head indoors before the fun begins and create a safe space for your pet to feel comfortable.
- Give them a chill pill. If you're really worried about a pet who stresses easily, talk to your vet in advance about an anti-anxiety chew, drops or other remedies to help sooth them.
-Work them out. Give your pet lots of exercise during the day so they'll be worn out before the scary noises start at night. A nice long run or play session can overall help with your pets stress and anxiety level.
Have a happy and safe 4th of July everyone!
