On good days I have continued to do a little weaving on my peg loom. It has taken a while but here is a finished pot plant holder. I am really pleased to have leant how to weave a circle which is the base and it’s all fleece from my darling little sheep. ❤️👏

I have just completed my first semi circular peg loom door mat made from washed Ouessant fleeces provided by my little darlings. 👏😀
The SxO boys are always keen to know what’s going on.

After fox attacks we have just brown hen left. She can only go out when I am outside as the fox has cubs that need to be fed. Brown hen has adopted the sheep as her flock though I am not sure if she thinks she is a sheep or if the sheep appear to be hens to her. 🤔

I have just completed my first peg loom rug using raw Ouessant fleeces and have learnt a lot during the process. I now have to decide if I should try and wash it 🤔.
Prudence and Steve sometimes like to have pure Ouessant time without the bigger boys.

It’s difficult to get a good photo when the subjects just want to follow and be with you 🤪. The Ouessant cross boys can’t get enough fuss.
Little Pru is able to hop up on the old DGF ewe’s back now and can even stay aboard when she ambles across the paddock. I love this pic 🥰
I ear tagged the wether lambs yesterday as the weather forecast was ideal. It’s not a job I like. Usually they steer clear of me for a couple of days afterwards but this year it hasn’t fazed them at all. Here they are sporting their tags whilst getting up to mischief as usual. 🤣 You might have to tap the photo to see it all.
Little Pru is full of character. Her dad Kaelig and mum Prim are nice types so I am hoping she will grow into something rather lovely.
Steve is now trying to master transferring from one back to another 🤪
My old DGF has had a bit of a trim which has made her even more interesting to the youngsters 🤪. Prim and red lad are also keen to investigate 🤣❤️.
Steve seems to think that my dear old DGF ewe is his personal activity centre. Jumping aboard is a frequent occurrence and I have noticed the others are starting to copy. Luckily Woolly is very tolerant and appears to enjoy the role of babysitter etc.
Prim is enjoying a dry morning with her gorgeous little ewe lamb not yet a day old. My ancient DGF is close by keeping tabs. 😍
The second good thing to happen today was the little rusty brown Ouessant cross Shetland wether decided to become friendly just like his white brother. They should both have gorgeous fleeces and will be looking for pastures new in the summer.
Well a lot has happened today. The absolute highlight being that Prim lambed at last just after mid day. Either she didn’t hold her first service or it just didn’t happen so I recalculated for a second round and hey presto a beautiful little ewe lamb. I am so happy because Prim is a lovely ewe but has only ever produced boys. Can’t believe my luck. Here’s Prim with Prudence about 40 minutes old. Then Mahla had to check the newcomer out. 🤣❤️

Steve was a very vigorous new born and continues to be full of beans.
I have recently started going outside again to spend time with my beloved, very much reduced, flock of sheep. Here is first time mum, Sylvie, with baby Steve who has been castrated and will be looking for pastures new at the end of July. Sylvie’s a model mum.
Today is a very sad one as most of my much loved Ouessants have gone to a new home last luckily as a group which should lessen their stress. I have left Prim, Sylvie and Mahla. I don’t know what my health will do but hopefully my 3 remaining girls keep me positive. However if it all goes pear shaped, my daughter will take them on. She’s one of my rocks 🥰

Do they know it’s Christmas? No, of course not but they definitely know it’s breakfast time! 🤣 The larger beasties are my ancient DGF and her crazy Shetland friend.
Back together. My ladies seem pleased to be a flock again. Unlike the rams, they don’t try and kill each other 😀❤️
The young lads love a good sprint and stott before the sun goes down 😂.
Shearing done. (Thanks to Alan). Afterwards a little bit of rain helped with the initial itchiness and the lambs now recognise their mums again so all good in the hood 👍
All the youngsters want to be in on the action but it doesn’t make a good video. 🤪
