The REAL MVP 👏

Cathleen Driscoll was named the MVP Rider of the 2023 Major League Show Jumping Series following Saturday night’s grand finale!

In their final MLSJ class for the 2023 season, Cat and Flotylla helped team Roadrunners maintain their overall second-place position in the team standings laying down the fastest jump-off time of the team and third-fastest JO time overall in the $1M Team Final.

It has been such an amazing experience for Plain Bay Farm to be a part of the 2023 season of Major League Show Jumping with some season highlights including:

⭐ Flotylla and Cathleen Driscoll’s second-fastest double-clear round in the $344,200 CSI5*
⭐Flotylla’s 6th place finish on the final day of competition in Mexico during the CSI5* 1.45m with Cathleen Driscoll
⭐ Casalletto and Cathleen Driscoll’s 8th place finish in the CSI2* Grand Prix in only their second-ever show on grass in Mexico
⭐ Casalletto and Cathleen Driscoll moving up to the CSI5* level during the last leg of competition

Idalgo goes two for two at Tryon Fall 6 🏆

Sher Al Farm's and Don Stewart's 2013 Dutch Warmblood gelding (Catoki x Quidam's Olga M) took two first-place finishes with Cathleen Driscoll in the $39,000 FEI Welcome Stake and the $78,000 CSI2* Grand Prix!

Also huge congratulations to groom, Emma Price on winning the Groom's Award for Idalgo's win in the 2* GP! Plain Bay Farm is thankful to have grooms like Emma and Meghan who work tirelessly behind the scenes to keep the horses in top shape!

Want to join the Plain Bay Farm Team? We are currently seeking two new female grooms to add to our full-time staff!

Our program is growing and we are thrilled to welcome several incredible new FEI horses to our string of talented mounts, and we are in search of two FEI show jumping grooms to join PBF! *Due to shared housing we are only accepting female applicants at this time.*

Grooms are responsible for their assigned horses and we are open to training the right person for the job. We are looking for motivated team players who are looking to join a great team with amazing horses and clients.

Plain Bay Farm is a sales and training operation based out of Wellington FL, Middleburg VA, and Nancy, France. These full-time positions include a salary, housing, per diem, and client tips at horse shows.

These are strictly grooming positions that do not include riding or flatting. We are seeking to hire one groom immediately and one in December right before the start of WEF.

Isabelle Ehman is your North American League Medium Junior/Amateur Jumper Final Winner 🏆

Fresh off of their win in Friday’s $2,500 NAL Medium Junior/Amateur Jumper Welcome, She and her own mount, Aston Des Etisses claimed a second victory at Capital Challenge in The $10,000 1.30-1.35m NAL Medium Junior/Amateur Final, presented by Parlanti.

Isabelle is one of the only riders in the shows history to win both the Welcome and the Final with the same mount!

On top of their huge success this week, Isabelle was also the leading junior rider 👏

Congratulations Isabelle and thank you to both Paula and Don Stewart for all of your efforts this week at Capital Challenge.

First win at CSI Greenwich 💚

On the second day of competition, Magnolia took the top spot with .driscoll in the CSI2* Speed qualifier, besting a talented field of 59 other horse-and-rider combos while she and Casalletto took 7th place.

This pair will return tomorrow for the CSI2* Grand Prix 👏

Laurel Walker, Armani, and the rest of the Junior Team took a 3rd place podium at the FEI Jumping Youth Nations Cup Final in Belgium 👏

Laurel and Armani assisted the team in taking a PODIUM finish this week in Europe! Team Plain Bay Farm is so proud of you, Laurel for taking on this week like a pro. We prepped and trained for this moment, and you went out there with Armani and gave it your all ❤️

Safe travels home to our entire team that is traveling with Laurel and Armani and thank you for all of your hard work over the past week.

Plain Bay Farm's student, Lori Bidwell, and one of PBF's most recent sales graduates, Nim who is now owned by Five O'Clock Farm, have been crushing the Low Amateur Jumper division at Tournament of Champions 2 this week taking a podium and ribbon finish!

We love that this sales mount of ours didn't go far, and that she and Lori are finding success together in the ring 👏

So thankful for Kentucky Spring Series 2022!!

Week 2 Highlights:

Elli Yeager placed 5th in the U25 Grand Prix on her noble steed, Iceman De Muze. McKayla Langmeier placed 2nd in the U25 Grand Prix with an amazing round on Rafferty Farm LLC's Chadina! Olivia Chowdry & Chuck Berry jumped clear to win a 1.35 class. Dorothy Cox and Blue Bella won a class, placed high in the classic & picked up Reserve Champion for Adult Amateur Jumpers!! Vani Khosla had several nice rounds all week in the 3* division. Plain Bay Sales' horse It Takes Two won not one but two 1.35m classes. Cathlees Driscoll & Dame De Pique jumped clear in the National Grand Prix. Cathleen Driscoll also took Don Stewart's Flotylla to 1st place in the 3* Speed and our very own Arome to 1st Place in the 3* Qualifier! We are so proud of our horses and riders for their hardwork and dedication the sport and look forward to a wonderful week at Upperville!

Plain Bay Farm is a sales & training operation based out of Middleburg Virginia, Wellington Florida, and Nancy France. This is a full-time salaried position that includes housing, travel stipends, and client tips during shows! Each groom is responsible for the high standard care of their assigned horses. This position is perfect for motivated team-players who are willing to work for success! We are always willing to teach new grooms our processes and routines, so don't hesitate to call!
