Sweet Lil girl injured her paw a few days ago (vet thinks she stepped on a thorn). The Blue Kote antiseptic turned her paw purple but then she licked it so I'd say she's turning into a Chow Chow! ;)
Also, sporting her new hair cut. (Second photo was her "before" taken last week). She desperately needed it in this heat and with all burrs she was getting out here in the country. It was so much easier to groom her myself when we lived in town!
She's still as Beautiful as ever.
We're having SO MUCH fun on our "real" farm now 🥰 (def country people!!) Grant is still finishing up his residency for awhile longer but at least the kids and I are having fun! On that note, we're getting closer to the reality of my dream for PUPPIES😍.
Would I have any interest in a litter sired by our lovely boy, Shadow? Depending on when exactly Beauty cycles this summer, we could have puppies ready to go to their new homes in November. I won't breed tho without a list.
If anyone is considering an AMAZING FAMILY DOG, great with kids, super fun/smart, SO EASY TO TRAIN. THESE ARE Australian Shepherds--- the best dogs! Some will have working farm hand potential. Others will be more laid back couch potatoes like their mama ;). Whatever you're looking for, I'll be sure to temperament test my puppies so they're the right fit in their forever home ;)!

Sleeping Beauty! She is just the sweetest!
Our puppies will be placed on individual temperament and family needs first to ensure a good match. Puppies' personalities can be tested 6+ weeks onwards. It's fun to look at cute newborn puppy pictures but beyond the colors/markings you have no idea what personality that pup is going to possess.
I can promise ya ALL my dogs are beautiful to look at, but most importantly is the personality and the drive of that dog you gotta actually get along with for 15ish years!
Don't choose your next dog based solely on looks 🐶

This will be an all red litter. They are the most amazing family dogs! They LOVE their people. They are so smart and can be trained for absolutely anything! Shadow helps me "herd" chickens to their coop. Beauty "nannies" our children. They both "assist" washing dishes ☺️😂. Mostly they just LOVE their people!
Poodles and doodles aren't the only answer to limit shedding in the house! Just ask these goofballs!
Still have another week or so for Beauty to get through her heat cycle. Shadow misses his lady pal. He has been SO annoying (raging hormones). Sooo here he his trying to mount my foot. 😒😂

She got me at me about 12.5 minutes in 😥. My childhood Rottweiler died young from a degenerative disc disease.

First attempt ever at stacking (for dog show conformation). Considering this boy is *always* moving and I was trying to do the luring/training while at the same time managing my phone camera!- not too shabby. (Yes we still have a lot of work to do but this was a fun first attempt). Really proud how Shadow is filling out!

Does anybody else's dog have more than one name? Our new girl was supposed to be Beauty, but my tongue keeps also calling her Sadie! Good thing she's smart- she comes to all the names (even Shadow's😆).
