Heartbroken to hear about the passing of Radhika Raghavan, a fierce and selfless warrior for stray animals. The founder of Proman, she dedicated her life to the voiceless, rescuing and sterilizing thousands of street dogs, fighting relentlessly for their rights.
Our paths crossed in the trenches of animal welfare, where she stood strong, never backing down, never giving up. Though we lost touch over the past two years, I always knew she was out there, doing what she did best—saving lives.
Today, the world of strays has lost a true genuine guardian. Animal welfare has lost a pillar. And I have lost a fellow soldier in this lifelong battle.
May you find peace, Radhika, in a world where no being suffers. Rest well, my friend. Your legacy will live on. 🌿🐾

Now, look at us—humans, the so-called most intelligent species. We build walls, not bridges. We draw borders, create divisions, and compete in an endless race of dominance. Ego rules our interactions; compassion takes a backseat.
The Vedas warn us of Kalyuga, the age of darkness where humanity will devour itself. And isn’t that where we are today? When was the last time you smiled at a stranger? Visited a neighbor? Helped without expecting something in return? Instead, we gatekeep kindness, hoard opportunities, and create an illusion of superiority over one another.
Nature thrives on coexistence. We, in contrast, thrive on conflict. Maybe it’s time we humble ourselves and take a lesson from the very beings we often consider inferior.
