Happy Earth Day! 🌍🌱 Ever wonder why alpacas are considered one of the most sustainable animals to raise?
🌍 With soft upper lips instead of top teeth, they trim grass without uprooting it, allowing pastures to naturally regenerate.
🌍 Their p**p is gold (well, almost). It makes an excellent, low-emission fertilizer and they even use communal dung piles, making cleanup a breeze!
🌍 Alpacas thrive without insecticides, herbicides, or synthetic fertilizers, reducing the risk of groundwater pollution.
🌍 Their soft, padded feet are easy on the land, causing minimal damage to terrain and vegetation.
🌍 And of course, alpaca fiber! It's durable, versatile. and biodegradable!. A win for both fashion and the planet!
