Fall Farm fundraiser:

Prepared take out meals! We are also taking orders for salsa & homemade dried noodles.

Proceeds help with some of the following:
* Building project shelter area with seating for 4-H students, school groups, and other educational or community events.
* Rescue and preventative medications for animals
* additional winter stall space for animals during harsh weather

Sponsorship with business advertisement available for projects. Contact us for additional sponsorship opportunities.

We are currently scheduling fall and spring groups and events. Please contact us for additional information.

Dylan, we are so proud of your accomplishment with Snickers and how mature and responsible you have been!
Say a little prayer for this guy as he says goodbye to Snickers..& for his mama. Tough day for all tomorrow, but thankful to the opportunities 4-H gives to these kids.

Fair Day 4 - The kids helped spray off the alpacas, kept the area cleaned, & answered questions. Allison and Brooke came down to visit.
Tomorrow, we are going to go ahead and bring them home.

Fair day 3.. was a HOT and semi stressful one.. It started out great with some fun visitors and the kids worked on some PR with visitors including 2 that instantly found an undiscovered love for alpacas❤️ Little Becca probably has a few years, but she and Austin did great helping walk them!

I went and bought more fans for them & noticed Juanita spent much of the time laying and was breathing heavy. I had Greg come sit with her and he called Dr. Davis. We MAY or may not end up having a baby, hopefully she holds off. We spent much of the night up there.

The biggest stress really…was kids and teenagers that did not know we owned them and began to mistreat them and tease them😡 If you are going to let your teenagers walk around, independence is great, being mean to animals that belong to someone else….is not. We put signs up, they laughed at them and blatantly did what was requested NOT be done. My day has already been 👎🏼👎🏼 so…they did NOT like my response🤷🏻‍♀️ but…sorry, I don’t really care, don’t mistreat animals, especially mine because…I’m not going to sit and let it happen.

Please, if you go to a fair and see kids mistreating animals, it does not matter if the kid is yours or not, please speak up. I can guarantee I am speaking for ALL livestock owners when I say that.

Fair Day #2! The kids did great making sure the stalls were clean and animals were taken care of. They spent time practicing harnessing and walking them.

We got to meet some more friends that follow our page! Thanks for coming out! It was great to meet you all!!

Also today, the farm, the kids, & the 4-H advisor were interviewed by Shelby at the Chillicothe Gazette. The article will be posted as soon as it comes out!

Last, we had a visit from our friends from Tecumseh. Thank you guys for coming out to see us!!!

We are so grateful to friends and family staying on the campgrounds that jump in and help check on our animals when we are not there! We appreciate you all!
It was a hot one!
We spent much of the day at the fairgrounds. We went to see some 4-H kiddos that got a few of our goats for projects. This was MaKenzie’s last year and Dylan’s first year. Great job guys!!! You have made some great memories with your projects!
We have had some of our 4-H kiddos coming over and checking the animals or checking in with us to see if anything was needed. You are appreciated for your efforts in caring for the animals. Great job! 1 day down.. we are looking forward to a great week!
Lastly, we had many that follow our page that made the effort to come and enjoy the fair and come see us! Thank you for your support! We love seeing familiar faces and meeting the new ones that follow us!

We are set up at the Ross County Fair. We are in between the Horse barn and Rabbit/Poultry barns. We also stopped by and saw Snicker & Doodle in their stalls. Their 4-H kids have done a great job with them!!! Congratulations kids on your Judge’s Choice & Outstanding Project awards!!!

Having an Educational and Rescue Farm, we are often asked how people can help. Here are a few ways❤️ If nothing else, feel free to drop off your pumpkins to recycle in the fall & Christmas trees. In the summer, feel free to drop off a watermelon, carrots, or extra vegetables. The animals love them!!

*Volunteer (spend a day helping with clean up and some interaction with the animals

*Help with events or sponsor an event (Kidz Camp, Christmas on the Farm, Vendor Fair, Christmas Living Nativity building project, sponsor an animal for a 4-H student)

*Sponsor a rescue
***$250/yr will help with medication, preventative medication, required nutrition supplements, & regular vet f***l checks. Donors receive a Francis Farm shirt, certificate with photo of their sponsored animal, & 4 free family visits a year.
***$550/yr helps with the above plus, extra vet costs, shearing, winter feed, & winter coats for underweight animals. Donors receive the above plus their business or sponsor name on advertisements, & 6 family visits per year.

*Simple Donations (Rural King, Useful Llama, PBS Animal Health, or Tractor Supply gift cards or donations. This helps with feed, Calf Manna Supplement, monthly worming supplies, B12 & Iron for anemic animals, mineral supplements, feed container replacements, fencing repair materials and other cleaning maintenance)

*Refer us for events, birthday parties, Homeschool & school field trips)

Having much experience on how difficult kindergarten can be for little ones experiencing new changes in routine, this year, we have Pocket Hugs available.
This is something to give your little one, OR if you are a teacher, something you can give to a little having a hard time without mom or dad. They put this in their pocket to know they are not alone and that is a little hug to get them through the end of the day❤️
I am taking pre-orders, these are available.
$5 each or $6 if mailed.
For those wanting to purchase and donate them to a specific school, please be sure to provide the school and to whose attention it should go to.

Hello everyone! We have a great event coming up that is sure to pique your interest if you're a fan of the Revolutionary War. On July 21st from 2-4PM, we will be having a special reception for the American Battlefield Trust and DAR Exhibit in the gallery attached to The History Store! There will be refreshments, reenactors, and music! We are so excited for this event and it's sure to be amazing! It's free to the public, so mark your calendars and we will see you on the 21st!

I know I gave props to my last can of this😂 but..it’s been awhile and lasts awhile. This is literally the best cleaner I have purchased..ever. I use it on windows, furniture, stainless steel..it is amazing! I am ALMOST out and didn’t want to drive all the way to Amish County to buy another can. Online, it is anywhere from $15-22/can (but..it replaces everything and lasts awhile).
I found if I placed a larger order, it’s a little cheaper! So, if anyone wants to try a can, let me know!! $12/can.

We picked up Pumpkin Spice (Leah is calling her Lucy from Narnia) this week. With all the the truck issues we have had, it was delayed a little longer than we expected, but she is here.
I was hoping for and envisioned a joyous reunion with floods of memories of growing up and weaning together 🤦🏽‍♀️🤣….my expectations were a bit high 🤣🤣
It has been a few days of Lucy being mad, lots of kicks to the face for Matilda🤣🤣😂🤷🏻‍♀️ but, they are grazing together and coming around to the idea that this may not be so bad🤣 I will put a good gave kick video in the comments.

4-H projects were due today! All of the students did great! These are a few of the students that have been coming to the farm to learn about taking care of the alpacas and training with them.

We had some fun supervised play time with the pups today. They did very well with the chicken, goats, sheep, & Matilda.

Many have been waiting…& it is HERE!! We just picked up the yarn and rug yarn from last year shearing. We currently have this available for pick up or shipping. We also offer dye services, don’t see color you like, we can not only dye it for you, but it can be a fun learning experience for kiddos that come to the farm for STEM activities.
I am also taking preorders for rugs (round, oval, or rectangle) as well as custom purses! Ladies that love purses and have seen the Prada or Bottega Veneta don’t have to pay an upwards of $5-11k for a purse! You can have a one of a kind handmade alpaca crochet purse that you can customize! 😁
