Mission Statement
This rescue was established by Alicia Carter in September 2020 with help from some very special people. Alicia worked in the foster community for 4 years with 2 different rescues. Starting in the summer of 2019, Alicia started doing medical needs dogs mainly and has had much success rehabilitating many of them. Then came the seniors and after much research it was found that senio
rs were not being adopted nearly as much as puppies or young dogs, in fact a lot of seniors were being turned over to shelters to be euthanized for inconveniences or medical attention that people just don’t want to deal with. So, born from the idea of saving these elderly and special needs dogs was Second Chance Senior Revival Animal Rescue, dedicated to saving these dogs. We hope to save as many as possible and provide the best veterinary care and quality of life that they deserve, all of our dogs will go through complete work up from the vet to see what medical need they currently have or what could be to follow. They will have all the love and attention they need from a very caring group of people to help make their last year’s enjoyable. So, please would you join Second Chance Senior Revival on this incredible and rewarding journey.
