Hydroponic lettuce and intensive container lettuce side by side. I tried growing cucumber inside also but I was not prepared for it. Not very efficient, you need to leave the lights on 24/7 and they take up a lot of space. It’s starting to fruit though so let’s see how it turns out!

I’ve installed a new hydroponic system using the Crackey method. I will be growing different varieties of lettuce, kale, and spinach to start with. I have butter crunch and Romaine lettuce here with kale.

This is my current setup with all it's glory. On the right middle is stacked microgreens germinating. On the bottom both sides are lavender and cucumber which will go in our backyard in the spring. On the left middle indifferent types of lettuce and kale. Left top are sunflower sprouts and pea shoots growing. I'll get more into the light I use in another post. Note! Fans are important to keep fungal gnats down and prevent mold.

These were taken with my iPhone on some product I am growing. Sunflower and pea shoots are delicious and good for you. It’s not common for something this tasty to also be healthy!
