While I appreciate how many chameleon FB groups dedicate themselves to guiding the newcomer through this awesome chameleon adventure, I sometimes long for a group where more specific issues might be addressed in a critical public forum. For instance, it would be great if a bunch of us could get down on all fours and wrestle with gutloading, or the virtues (or problems) of higher uvb for montanes, or whether supplemental retinol is an absolute necessity for raising minor. For good reason, broaching these topics on FB groups that seek to educate newcomers is neither appropriate, nor helpful; however, I’d love to see an fb group where some experienced keepers can attempt these murky waters without worrying about confounding newcomers.
