Fosters and funds needed for 6 young cats on Long Island! Transport available! These cats are about 6 months old and need our help. There’s two calico, one striped calico, a brown tabby, an orange tabby and a long haired Torti. We were able to rescue one kitten, a beautiful Siamese but these 6 still need help! We are in need of supplies to help abandoned and orphaned kittens. during this period of time shelters are overwhelmed with hundreds of kittens which ends up costing a lot of money, including a lot of kitten formula/milk, syringes/nipples, kitten food dry and wet, litter, vet visits/vaccines, toys/enrichment, bedding, and more! 1/3 of all dogs and cats go missing a year in the US! 80% are reportedly never found; about 9,500,000 end up in shelters and only 16% have proper identification! Dogs and cats usually get stolen and then are either sold, used for breeding or used for bait; others get sick or injured and can’t get the help needed; some are killed by getting hit by traffic or by fighting with other animals; some cannot find proper shelter or food/water; some end up in shelters where they either get adopted out or euthanized.

Make sure your pets know door manners and your locks and fences are properly secured. Also make sure you have a microchip that is UTD and a collar with tags!
