🚨 Kitten Naming Fundraiser! 🚨

We’ve just welcomed three new kittens into our care from a heartbreaking hoarding situation. These little ones—2 boys and 1 girl—are in rough shape. One seems to be suffering from a bad ear infection, and all three have upper respiratory infections. They’ve already stolen our hearts, and now we need your help giving them names while raising the funds needed for their medical care and recovery.

✨Available for adoption: Storm and Blizzard are a pair of adorable 3 month-old bonded brothers looking for their forever home!

Blizzard, the fluffy little snowball, may start off a bit shy. He’ll need some time and patience to feel comfortable, but once he warms up, you’ll see his true cuddly side. Blizzard loves to be the one to approach you for affection—he’s a cat who values trust and connection. When it’s playtime, his favorite activity is chasing wand toys with the kind of enthusiasm that will make you smile.

Storm, is our sweet little guy. He adores playing with his brother and has the most adorable squeaky meow that will melt your heart. Storm is always ready for fun and adventure but balances it perfectly with his loving personality.

Meet Pip!

This sweet little boy is around 4 months old and was rescued after being found on the side of the road next to his mom who was hit by a car in October.

A kind local trapper Jackie, picked him up and brought him to his foster home .jerrythepanda where he’s been getting rehabilitated and vetted.

Pip is full of kitten energy and loves to play with other animals. He’d be best suited to a home with another cat who matches his energy level or with a dog who’s cat savvy.

✨Sawyer spotlight✨

Sweet Sawyer has a made a special wish list for Santa as he waits for his furever home to find him:

Since overcoming his tummy upset and vet visit 2 months ago, he’s settled well on Purina Pro plan wet and dry food! He’s asking Santa for some extra bags to be donated to the rescue or for donations to go towards this.

The last wish on this sweet boy’s list are applications to adopt him. He wants to share with everyone how friendly, affectionate and full of beans he is. He’s just over 1 now and has been fully vetted. He’s the solo cat on his foster home but he would benefit from a feline friend or from the energy of a young family to play with him ♥️🐾

Welcome to our two new little intakes: we’ve named them Storm and Blizzard!

These 2 little guys are estimated 8 weeks old were surrendered by their mom’s owner. Local community trapper Jackie Gauthier is working to get the mom fixed with the owner while we welcomed these 2 little guys in.

They’re on the shy side, but their foster mom Emily is giving them time to decompress and adjust.

✨Adoption update✨

We’re thrilled to share that our little man, Mochi, was officially adopted! This little guy was found outside near a ferry, by himself, at around 7-8 weeks. Local community trapper Jackie Gauthier secured him and he went to .jerrythepanda Emily’s home to be fostered.

He’s officially in his furever home and settling nicely with his big dog brother! Thank you to his new dad, Tarik, for being patient and working hard at a slow and steady introduction for these two.

🌈In memory of Snickers🌈

We are heartbroken to share a devastating update about Snickers:

Our sweet girl was diagnosed with FIP on Friday afternoon and by late evening Friday, she had a seizure. We rushed her to urgent care while her temperature kept dropping. The emergency vet determined that Snickers had a severe case of neurological FIP, while her symptoms kept getting worse. Based on her blood work from our regular vet a few hours prior, her dropping temperature, size, being full of fluid, weakness and seizure, we made the difficult decision to let her go to sleep.

This is our rescue’s first loss, and our team has been processing this over the weekend. We find comfort in knowing we did all we could for her and that she passed peacefully, surrounded by 3 people who loved her very much: Jackie Gauthier who is a local community trapper initially saved Snickers and her 2 siblings from the outdoors in July, temporarily fostered and has been actively involved in her numerous transports to various vet clinics as we got different opinions as to what she could have. Emily, Bambi.Jerrythepanda her devoted and extremely caring foster mom who has worked tirelessly since August monitoring and caring for her, always making Snickers and her treatments a priority, and our co-founder Marie.

This part of rescue is extremely difficult and we wish to extend a heartfelt thank you to Capital City Emergency Hospital for their empathy and compassion as we navigated this loss. We also want to acknowledge Heidi with Heidi's Kitty Haven for being an incredible support and resource to us with regard to Snickers.

We thank all of you who have been participating in our auction over the weekend, and to our ongoing bottle drive and raffle. All the funds raised are going towards helping us recover from Snickers’ urgent care and last expenses.

This sweet soul has left her little paw print on our hearts and we move forward by remembering her.

Rest easy little one. We love you ♥️

Intake update:

Intake update: Our little trio is doing well so far! Cadbury our little girl is taking great care of her baby brother Snickers. He has gained weight each day that he’s been in care with Jackie and today he weighed in at 477 grams from the 354 he came into care under.We’re waiting to transfer them to a member of our team until Snickers has gained more weight, and to not cause him additional stress during transport.Stay tuned for more update and happy caturday!

Kitten update!

Our two little pumpkins are growing by the day! Their foster mom got them some toys and they’ve been loving discovering how to play with them! Our little duo started their second round of dewormer and they’re off to the vet next week for their check up and first round of vaccines! They wish everyone a happy weekend ♥️🐾

Bath time

It’s bath time for our 2 newest kittens! They’re in the best hands with our foster mom, Alanna, and her 3 kids who all jumped in to help bath them and give them extra cuddles to regulate their temperature afterwards. We’re extremely careful with these little ones seeing as they’re still so young. Alanna is heating up rice packs as she feeds them every 4-6 hours, and their bed is over a heating vent. Their vet apt is scheduled for May 2, while they get deworming at home and keep eating milk powder with mom and kitten wet food. Fosters are the backbone of our organization and they do the hard work. We send a huge shout out to our two cat fosters, Alanna and Emily, who both have their hands full right now with kittens this young. More updates to come on our newest little kitten crews 🤍🐾
