Kitten update!
Our two little pumpkins are growing by the day! Their foster mom got them some toys and they’ve been loving discovering how to play with them!
Our little duo started their second round of dewormer and they’re off to the vet next week for their check up and first round of vaccines!
They wish everyone a happy weekend ♥️🐾
Bath time
It’s bath time for our 2 newest kittens!
They’re in the best hands with our foster mom, Alanna, and her 3 kids who all jumped in to help bath them and give them extra cuddles to regulate their temperature afterwards.
We’re extremely careful with these little ones seeing as they’re still so young. Alanna is heating up rice packs as she feeds them every 4-6 hours, and their bed is over a heating vent.
Their vet apt is scheduled for May 2, while they get deworming at home and keep eating milk powder with mom and kitten wet food.
Fosters are the backbone of our organization and they do the hard work. We send a huge shout out to our two cat fosters, Alanna and Emily, who both have their hands full right now with kittens this young.
More updates to come on our newest little kitten crews 🤍🐾
New intakes:
We’d like to introduce our two newest little intakes this evening. This little sibling duo was trapped near a barn, and are estimated to be 5-6 weeks old.
There really is a kitten crisis and all rescues are overwhelmed, but we were happy to intake this little duo who are now settling in with their foster mom, Alanna.
They’re able to eat kitten food on their own, and we’ve added some milk powder. They’re going to see a vet in the next few weeks while we get them comfortable indoors, while their foster mom provides a safe and warm home.
Stay tuned for updates on these little guys, as well as fundraising initiatives to help cover the costs of their vet care, food and supplies.
A big thank you to our community trapper, Jackie, and to Alanna for opening up her home on short notice. It really does take a village to rescue 🩵🐾
Welcome!
Happy Sunday everyone!
The rescuer we have been working with was able to locate and trap our little trio’s mom!
She’s now settling into foster, reunited with her babies. We did not hesitate to intake this little mama. According to our foster, she’s very small herself and estimated to be quite young.
Our little family’s vet apt was moved to March 27th, in order for all 4 to get checked at the same time.
Stay tuned for updates on this little family, and for a fun little fundraising initiative we’re preparing to help name them 🤍🐾
Welcome!
✨New intakes✨
Last night, we welcomed a litter of 3 kittens into care, rescued from a hoarding situation. They’re estimated to be 4-5 weeks old.
They are now settling in with their experienced kitten foster mom, Emily.
While 1 little one is eating wet food, the 2 others still need to be formula fed with syringes. Aside from the usual litter, we will require additional supplies to properly care for them to ensure they grow to a healthy weight. Their vet appointment is scheduled for March 25, but we will need additional formula, syringes and kitten food.
Their foster mom has prepared an Amazon wish list, linked below:

Stay tuned for updates on this little trio, and a big shoutout to Emily for all her hard work with them 💜🐾
Meet Winne!!
✨Meet Winnie✨!
Our new little intake officially has a name, and she’s off to the vet tomorrow for her check up, first vaccines and blood tests.
✨New intake✨
We’d like to introduce this little female kitten. She’s estimated to be 3-4 months. She was abandoned in an apartment when owners left, and staff on site found her. She was very scared and we needed to use a trap to get her, but luckily our kitten foster, Emily, was able to get one and now has her in care.
This little one does not currently have a name- standby for her updates as we name her and her her to the vet 🐾🩵
Thank you to our Orleans community. This is not even all of it. Keep them coming.
Miss Bee has started playing with toys! She wouldn’t play with any when she first came into care. We’re so proud of this sweet girl. She’s up for adoption and her full profile is on our website!
✨Fostering saves lives ✨
Bugg and Bee found themselves in the same foster home with Sally and Sylvain this weekend, after little Bugg’s first trial didn’t work out. We received applications for her right away and she’s now adoption pending again. Stay tuned for a happy pupdate on this little one.
We really want to showcase how gentle and sweet miss Bee is. She went to the vet this Sunday and she’s estimated to be only 18 months. She’s an incredibly sweet girl who greets everyone with a smile and her gentle demeanour with little Bugg just shows her loving nature.
She will be posted soon, and we hope to find her the best match. She will be an incredible pup to her furever home.
We also want you to send a HUGE shoutout to Sally and Sylvain: they weren’t expecting 2 dogs at once, and went through new applications this weekend while bringing Bee to the vet and picking Bugg up.
We truly can’t foster dogs without them and want to thank them for all of their hard work and dedication to this little rescue. They are an integral part of our team and deserve to be showcased ♥️🐾
New Intake:
New intake:
We’d like to introduce miss Bee as our third local shelter pull after being found as a stray. Her fosters, Sally and Sylvain, picked her up on very short notice, and she’s now settling in.
She’s estimated to be a 2 year old pure bred English Bulldog and she will need full vetting.
Welcome into care sweet girl. Stay tuned for pupdates as we get to know her 💕🐾
A big thank you to our Orleans community and Deb Sennema for helping with the on-going bottle drive
Happy Sunday from our little bouncy Bugg
Happy Sunday for our bouncy Bugg:
Bugg is full of puppy beans and the life of the party at her foster home! Her fosters are hard at work training her and getting her ready for adoption.
She wishes everyone a happy weekend🤍🐾
Little BUGG 💜
Our little BUGG is settling nicely in her foster home. She’s so sweet and tiny! Stay tuned for pupdates as we schedule her vetting 🐾🤍
Addition to Maple’s litter: welcome Willow!
Maple was initially trapped with her 3 kittens, but the female went to the finder who was going to adopt her. They’ve since decided not to, therefore she will rejoin her mom and two litter mates in the next day.
We will be adding her to Saturday’s vet appointment and to the website shortly.
Welcome little Willow into care 🤍
*Please note that our intake remains officially closed. We took Willow in as we feel it’s the right thing to do given we have her mom and 2 siblings. We will continue our fundraising initiatives for all of our vetting costs. But we are not in a position to intake any other animals at this time until we’ve finalized some adoptions and pay down our vet bill.
We thank you all for your understanding.
