We conducted a roof inspection today where a home owner knew she had possums in the roof. The home owner hired a “pest control” business early in November to set up some traps in the roof and patch some holes. The company charged the home owner $1000 (Which is a insane amount for any company to charge to set up two traps!) and never returned, a possum ended up in the trap and unfortunately died in it due to the company leaving it there for almost two months! This is absolutely unacceptable and is the very definition of cruelty.
This is why it’s very important to use a reputable company.
I ended up patching the hole in the roof where possums had been getting in and conducted a further roof inspection to find no further possums.
