It took me a really long time to realize my male Devon Rex (Xander) is fawn SMOKE, not just fawn. You can’t tell on him because he’s so light already and they didn’t come up with a DNA test for the inhibitor gene until last year. Here are his 2 babies that are both black classic tabbies, but one is a SILVER TABBY, thanks to that inhibitor gene I didn’t realize dad has! I checked his pedigree and sure enough his mom was black smoke.

Today's a big, sad day. Ira is getting neutered. He'll be going to live out his retirement with a close friend of mine, where I know he'll be treated like a king.

Ira's my first sphynx baby, CaliSphynx's main man, the OG, the legend. I didn't understand the personality difference between a furry cat and a sphynx until I met him.

His last babies will be born this summer.

Isis carries cinnamon & dilution and can make blue, black, cinnamon, fawn, chocolate, lilac, and calico babies depending on who she’s paired to. She’s got 1 copy of the devon rex gene and 1 copy of the sphynx gene, so she can make babies that are hairless AND make rex coated babies as well as babies that fall somewhere in between.
