The Alaskan crew is getting huge! Almost two months in, and they're Black worm connoisseurs, with a few adventurous eaters sampling itsy-bitsy red wigglers - baby brine shrimp are so last month!

Side note! Now is the time to get your tanks going for anyone interested in an axolotl!

If you need info on cycling your tank, let me know! I'm happy to help. It can take a couple of months to fully cycle!

Also, Petco has their Aqueon aquariums half off! 20 gallon long is the minimum size for a single lotl (I prefer at least 30 gallon long). 10 gallons more per lotl.

Most of the Alaska Axie babies have front legs now! That means they get to be separated to prevent anyone from nipping off their siblings limbs.

Axolotls do not see well. Anything that passes in front of their faces is fair game when they are hungry, especially with babies. They aren't doing it to be mean at all! To keep everyone safe, we separate. It's also super helpful for keeping up with photos!
