We have some unfortunate news. Plans changed and the stud that we had plans on using for Molly sadly can't be used now and we can't find any studs in our area that are suitable for her. Unfortunately this means no pups from her as We will only breed to quality, suitable males because we only want the best quality pups for people!.
There's a great breeder that I know who had talked about what she stands for in her kennel when it comes to breeding and pups and I've taken that up as well, and that is, we will not purposely breed our dogs without having atleast some homes lined up for pups and with zero interests in this litter, we will not breed. We do not want to see pups being born without homes to go to.
That being said we've thrown around this idea for a while but have finally made the official decision to place Molly. This would be her second heat here that she hasn't been bred and she's too big and beautiful not to carry on her lines. If I can not find her a breeding 🏡, I will retire her as I believe she deserves that just as much! In that case, she will still be 👀 for a pet 🏡.
This will put us down to one breeding female for our malamutes and that's Sasha in which we will still plan for future litters from her.
This gives us time to focus on our personal lives and bettering our program for our malamutes but also our new journey with Cane Corso's
I have yet to talk about our sons condition but a lot of people who follow me and are friends with me on fb, know that we've had trouble with our boy Harrison, walking. After several hospital visits, MRI's and not really getting answers or progress with therapy, his last MRI gave us just that and our son was diagnosed with MCM (Mega Cisterna Magna) this is a rare condition that he was born with, that should've been caught while I was pregnant but was overlooked. Good news is, it can't hurt him but there isn't anything that can be done for it and it causes delays in development which explains why he still isn't walking, 4 months shy of being 3 years old. We are continuing his therapy but there is a lot ahead of us still!. On top of that my oldest son is on the spectrum for autism and we've been going through some things with him and he's fighting a hard battle with GI issues that we are seeing a specialist for at Children's hospital but we believe there's still a long journey ahead of us. And last but not least, my husband and I have both had some issues with our health. My husband just had his second shoulder surgery since he got out of the Army and I have been having my own health issues that has been an ongoing struggle to figure out what's actually going on.
We feel that because of ALL of this, we want to stay a small program so we can not only focus on the quality of our dogs but also our personal life. We want to thank all of you for your love and support and for anyone interested in Molly, please pm me through my personal page. Thank you ❤️
