Watching the world go by and smelling nature.

Day 2: The first day was quite smooth and he was lower energy. Today he was on a fast pace with our walk. He walks okay ...

Day 2: The first day was quite smooth and he was lower energy. Today he was on a fast pace with our walk. He walks okay with another dog but could use some help with focus and pulling, all in due time.

I left him alone for a few hours with Dexter and it was good in the beginning but ended with him hidden in a closet. I believe it was fireworks that scared him. An excellent day minus being scared but I'll see what I can do.

Now he is ready for bed. He has the option for my bed or his bed right next to mine. I've invited him up and he enjoys belly rubs but then back to his bed.

Busy day...... Dinner...... And now a nap.

Houdini isn't ready for adoption yet as he is going through heartworm treatment. He is 4 years old, house trained, knows a few commands, is good with other dogs, affectionate, and is quite happy.

Why the name Houdini? He is an escape artist. He will bolt from the house or car door and dig under a fence. With some training on the "stay" command, I'm hopeful that he will be safe with the car and house.
