Head manager Madame Madeline is 4 today!
Happy Birthday little boss lady! We love you so much!
The hooman has drawn us in our Super Hero alter ego’s for her birthday, she is Madame Mesmer-eyes as she has the biggest shiniest most beautiful eyes and can use them to make the hooman give her everything she wants!
I’m The Black Pudding! My super power is to chirp and mhweep almost constantly, even in my sleep!
Maddy got new cosy beds which she had before her birthday the amazing caravan one is made by AdaArt139 on Etsy, she has lots of amazing quirky pig beds so please check out her shop.
The other bed that I am middling in the last photo is from Etsy too, the hooman can’t remember the maker but she will try to… won’t you hooman! *gives hooman a hard stare*

Not our usual cartoon this week.
Last week we had to say goodbye to our dog friend Digger Dog. He blundered through our lives like a bull in a china shop and has left a big gaping fuzzy hole in our lives… but he’s still bouncing around in the hoomans brain as the cartoon dog he always was in real life too! So she’s been too busy drawing him to do any piggy cartoons, but at least she featured Penny, Eric and Ernie pig in this one!
(Based on a true story, except it was a family of picnickers that Digger chose to deposit a massive p**p right beside as they ate their lunch and all we could do was apologise! 🙄🙈🤣😅)

Thanks for all your love, light and joy Digger Dog, everyone misses you! 😢

We remind the hooman to stop for tea every day at 3, we don’t partake ourselves but the hooman does give us a snack so we make sure she ever forgets!
Eric pig used to steal mint teabags out of her cup if she left it on the floor. He’d take them away to secret places to eat them! What a legend! 🤣🤣🤣

Happy 1st Adoption Day Myrddin Emrys Pig! 🎉🎉🎉

Myrddin would like to imagine he’s the dashing Prince Charming sweeping Madame Madeline off her feet, but the truth is she’s not that fussed.
That being said secretly she really likes him. 😅🥰

Myrddin (pronounced mer-thin) came to us from the Neville’s Nest rescue in Leicestershire. He was named Scottie by the rescue.
I was looking for a gentle companion for Maddy who wouldn’t be too much for her as she’s always been a shy pig. I had though we’d get a little girl, but when offered a 8 week old neutered boar we decided to go for it!
I have to say it’s been the perfect match! We did a slow bond because he was still healing from being neutered.
They spent several weeks chatting through the bars at each other and quickly settled down to domestic bliss upon formal introductions.

Myrddin is such a sweet and gentle boyo. He’s also the shiniest, softest piggie I’ve known! And the chattiest! Really he chats all the time! I can see Maddy rolling her eyes as he chats away when we have cuddles thinking ‘will he never shut up?’ 😅
He rumble struts about like a big man when actually without Maddy he’s a cowardy custard! 🙈
It’s been a tough year for the hooman and he’s brought a lot of joy! We love you little man! 🥰❤️❤️❤️❤️

As much as we might complain about the how much p**p a piggy can produce, every pig-slave knows they’d rather see piles of perfect p**ps than none at all!
The management went on p**p-strike last week, I’m guessing it was something they ate as they both did it. Thankfully I had critical care on hand and they were otherwise eating and behaving normally.
They are back to being champion p**pers now! 🥰

We have a poorly Penny Pig, though she’s not showing it much scoffing this tomato. Sadly she has been diagnosed with cancer in her lymph nodes. She’s only two years old so we’re gutted. 😞 We don’t know how long she has so we’re spoiling her rotten and getting in as many cuddles as possible. ❤️❤️❤️ The only sign she was poorly was she was breathing a bit funny, the hooman thought she was just being paranoid but Aunty Row always says ‘you know your pigs best, so if you think there’s something wrong, get it checked.’ So Penny went for a very thorough poking by the lovely vet at @biltonvets and the he found she had swollen lymph nodes. Always keep a close eye on your pigs, and get them checked if you think they’re poorly, it might be treatable if you catch it early. Sadly in this case for Penny it’s not, but at least we can make the most of our time left with her now we know.
