While I was there I was able to get a couple blankets for the horses… probably won’t use them till late January or February just when they start shivering. (I did insulate their lean too so maybe I won’t even need them this year)
on the Goat side.
I was able to get some tarps and an electric fence energizer so I am happy dancing all over .
I need to put a roof over the new section of birthing bonding pen for the goats .
But I have the sides put up and the top over last year’s section is up. I take it down during the summer because it keeps out the rain, but keeps in the flies .

Redemption Road Rescue is having a heart break sale of tack and such as Lori is retiring. That being said, we went down Saturday and looked at some tack and found a bling bling halter for Alice and a very handsome warrior halter for hawk fits their personalities perfectly.

I know people post things that are untrue & by people they don’t know. This post is from a dear friend of many years . We went to church, Sunday school, Bible studies, community events , served on pto, scouts.. so I know this post is valid.
“We have a friend that was deployed to NC., and I am not gonna mention his name, do not want him in trouble with service, but he has let his whole family know, he is there, he sees what is going on and everything that you have heard about F em A is absolutely true. They have tried to stop a lot. This is so sad for all those people there.”

Take this as a warning, make sure your $$ & donations make it. Try Samaritan’s Purse, or local Churches. Don’t go there without a real landing spot. They are short on food& places to shower , sleep.

Good News 09/26/2024 Update: Construction of the upcoming playground improvements will be scheduled for Summer of 2025 by the Tennessee Army Guard 212th Engineer Company, Paris, TN. Capt Will Nelms is notifying the 212th Engineers this construction project will be executed during their summer field training.

Working on fence .. still .. forever. Just about finished with hollow oak, three board fence & oak stand grazing areas. This will give me 6 rotational pastures. The cows are on 70 mph pasture until the end of this week. Then they will go to the next area. We have had them on our hay pasture to aid in fertilizer. Now we run the harrow and let it grow!
