Hedgehog in Ithaca, NY needs rehoming. cid:15E61AE4-7EF6-4B00-BA4E-2198DF2F9414. "I am looking to find a safe home for my 3 year old hedgehog, Olive. He has no health issues, and he can be very exploratory and curious too :) The reason I am looking to give him up is because it's becoming very difficult to care for him in my tiny dorm, especially since I also have an emotional support dog. Although it sounds kind of ridiculous, one of my greatest struggles with him has been how much p**p he creates. I am constantly scrubbing p**p off his wheel and cleaning up after him wherever he goes. In general, I feel that I don't have the means to properly take care of him - getting him was really irresponsible of me." Contact me for their contact info.

We are doing a big open house on Saturday! New babies will be available and ready for new homes. Come to learn or come to take home a new friend. Winter safety measures apply, meaning we request you wear a mask and we will be limiting the number of people visiting at the same time (We want to keep everyone healthy). We have some male and female rescues that are looking for homes. I prefer an experienced adult because I want these hedgehogs to stay in their next home for the remainder of their lives. I do not recommend them for houses with kids, because I don’t know the exact ages of most of them. Most of them are two years or older. If you want to save an animal, consider rescuing an older hedgehog.

Last night it got rather cool. Get in the habit of checking your hedgehog every morning to make sure that have either slept on or next to their heating pad. False hibernations can sneak up on you!

If you see me in your garden please put me cat food (preferably chicken flavored) but also serve me any vegetables and put fresh water not milk.
I take care of the streets at nightfall and my paws don't allow me to run fast... So if you see me on the road, put me off it.
If you take me below the belly, I won't sting you.

Dobby our Armadillo says Hello! Showing everyone his full ball of armor. I guess you could say we are fascinated with critters who roll up and protect themselves, our dillo, our hedgehogs, and tenrecs all roll up fully if need to. 🦔🐾
