50 cards down, 30 to go. It's coming along. I've decided to keep some surprises to myself for impact when you get your hands on the deck! If all goes flawlessly I hope to have a final draft in early October so I can open preorders for spooky season but that's just dreaming and flawless is never likely.

I'm doing a little work on the Hermit Crab Tarot today. I'm working on budgeting as well as the guide for the cards. It will be a one time run of 50-100 decks depending how my shop does the next few months. I have worked out that the deck will include 80 cards (a standard tarot plus two extras) as well as 10 guide cards. The deck will come in a very nice magnetic book box.

Sometimes it feels like your problems, your feelings, your reactions, are to small. Other people have bigger issues, they need the help. I don't. Everyone needs help sometimes. You might need something as simple as sending a friend a message to vent. You might feel it could be worth trying to talk to a professional. Your suffering is enough. You have a right to get what you need.

Do you ever do something and think I wish I took a before photo? Do you realize you forget that all day every day? Take a second and remember your before. Your list in your head when you got to work this morning. Your home before it was full of the love those in it bring including pets, the empty plate before you put dinner on it, or the last thing you cleaned before you cleaned it. Take a second to cherish that progress. That is all. 🥰

Packing means so much to me. If it’s plastic it’s reused or thrifted. Boxes are getting a second life or made of recycled paper and I have watched the compostable mailer market go form $1.50 each when I first started using them to right around .30c each. I have not bought plastic or new materials for over 2 years now! These mailers here are compostable at home. Unlike thermal labels, this paper label can stay on!

I have been saving my pennies for a big expense! Today I checked and happily placed an order for a new printer. My printers all have names and personalities, this one will be Pearl. Hopefully she will be as helpful as her robot namesake.
