I reopened my shop as a work in progress starting with my stickers. You will notice a lot of my items are missing. Those are hidden and as I take inventory and update photos I will be adding them back. Stickers are free shipping anyway! Here is my newly uploaded backlog of stickers and one magnet.

I can’t even explain the feeling of moving this thing I love so much from this to this and Charles is cozy in his bouncer behind me making it 100 time better. The open rolls and printers are in another closet and the sealed ones will live in my storage room in the basement. If I’m still in the hospital dreaming, let me sleep.

We have a new house! Although I shipped my first orders out of my new stock room I’m going to keep my store closed a little longer. I would like to do a full inventory and take some new listing photos before opening back up. Our timeline to finish pre move in projects got pushed back about two weeks when we confirmed half the house had 100 year old oak hardwood floors hidden under carpet.

I'm slowly putting it all back together. Here are some updates.

Baby Charles came home two weeks ago today from the NICU and is doing great. I am a very tired and happy mama even if he looks just like his dad. We are just now finding our grove and starting to play catch up with normal life after spending most weeknights and every weekend at the hospital.

I have started updating my stock with all the things I made for Crab Con. Just so you know your VIP code is still good in my shop.

I am excited to say my little shop is about to get a little bigger. Soon I will have space to spread out a little more and keep more items in stock. Right now my operiation is contained in a normal sized closet and soon I will have not ONE, not TWO, but THREE walk in closets! I will give the full story and a tour when I get all set up.

I also have a room booked at 2025 Crab Con! I'm excited to be an in person vender for the first time.

Hey crabby fam. You may or may not know this but I am currently 28 almost 29 weeks pregnant. What you may not know is this has been a doozy of an experience. Currently I am on my 12th day in the hospital thanks to PPROM and my only ticket out is birth. That could be tomorrow or as long as about 9 weeks from now. Baby is doing good and I have a wonderful team and no matter how things turn out I’m confident I will end up a happy healthy mom with a happy healthy little one.

Shipping:
I have extended my processing time 2 weeks to take a little pressure off just in case things change quickly and allow my husband to take over shipping.
I also will not be taking restock requests until I am out.

Crab Con:
It’s pretty clear I won’t be meeting my production goals especially for my new items. Also as much as love adding to the give aways I don’t want to put my husband under any added stress. I do plan to pick up where I left off when I break out of here and have a late for Crab Con sale with discounts. I do plan to have my shop open for Crab Con and work with my husband to update the inventory I do have ready, and that is quite a bit. I also have lots of time to work on art and expand some of my print on demand offerings. I have already ordered a test of one item I really excited for and would love to offer multiple versions of, a short sleeve button up all over print tropical shirt.

As for me I’m holding up. Feel free to tag me in funny or interesting crab posts if you think of it and I would gladly except any prayers, good vibes, or whatever else your into sent my way.

I love this community as well as my customers and I know all of you will be nothing but supportive as I find my way through this complex time as well as be there to celebrate with me when it’s all over.

My husband will be taking over shipping and I will not be taking restock requests until further notice. I have extended shipment times to two weeks but it likely will not take that long.

And we have a finished product! I’m thinking purple, green, and gray with black roofs as well as yellow with a blue roof for a less spooky take!

Welcome to the creative process. The rear door got a frame for a cleaner print and the windows all got small edits to their shapes. That top window since it was part of a small section in that layer was likely holding to much heat by the time the next layer started leading it to bow up and snag the printer head pushing it to print off center and into air. Tonight we will try again!

As if I needed one more thing to add to my print list, a customer came to me looking for a haunted house and I fell in love with the idea. What hermit crab does not need a spooky Victorian hide? It has the removable roof, 1.5 inch front door and 2.5 inch rear door for larger crabs, two "flower bed" moss pits in the front for foraging items, and a small wall dish inside for hiding small treats like popcorn.
