What a bunch of little heart breakers!!! Every once and awhile a special bunch of babies comes along and I can’t get enough of these guys! Little boy on the end there was trying his best to clean himself and give me all the kisses in the world! 🥹🖤 These are the moments that remind me of why I do what I do, just too freaking amazing to be true sometimes…

‘Tis the season for babies!!! We welcomed another litter to the rattery this morning! Wasn’t too sure how this one was gonna turn out so I waited awhile to confirm- turns out mom had the tiniest litter ever and was hiding them exceptionally well! 2 girls and 2 boys… hi babies!! Since they were born during a Christmas blizzard I’m in need of some snow/holiday themed names! 🖤
Hi guys! I saw some other pages posting about the storm and I thought it’d be a good idea to pass along the info! If you lose power it can be scary to think about your babies becoming cold or sick- they’re a lot tougher than you think! Ratties will be fine in temps as low as 50F as long as they have some extra bedding or something to snuggle up in. Extra fabric and towels are a great idea! Also warm water bottles wrapped in fabric to create a barrier for potential burns can be used if temps begin to drop even further. It is also a good idea to top of water bottles and have a back supply of water in case of frozen pipes. Lastly making sure your babies are out of the way of drafts or cold breezes is super important in preventing respiratory infections- think about wrapping cages in blankets to protect your babies from the colder outside air. Stay warm out there and give your babies cuddles from me!

Holiday babies are hereeee! 🖤 Enoki did so well with her 2nd litter- she’s an ace at this mom thing! These babies are gonna be a stunning cross of harley silvermane x dwarf. While there will most likely be no harley or dwarf in this litter they will be genetic carriers and hopefully in the summer we will see some harley dwarves!
Unfortunately it looks like Soju has either miscarried or reabsorbed her litter 💔 While this is very sad news I do have another pregnant momma that is doing very well! Crossing my fingers for a safe and smooth delivery for her! 🖤

Super excited to see his future and watch him grow 🖤 Definitely wasn’t expecting another baby right now but when I met him he fell asleep in my hands and well…. Every night my dwarf girls beg to play what I have come to call *gently toss the rat on the soft comfy bed* 😂 I have no idea how we figured out that this is fun but they’re in love with it! 🖤
Throwback to January when I hand raised some babies who needed a momma, just too cute to handle! Such a great helper when she learned to hold her “bottle” 😂 Voodoo was always a champ and has grown so much 🥺 I miss her tiny days lol! 🖤 *please note the milk is not being forced, it’s only pushed enough for a bead of milk to form on the top of the syringe and they lick it off. No worries about aspiration with this method 🖤
Spring deep cleaning day! I took out all except one new hammock in the girls’ cage to wash and found them like this, all stacked on top of each other 😂 Believe it or not there’s *eleven* girls in there! Needless to say they were very happy about a half an hour later when they got all their toys and sleeping spots back! 🖤

Colors are coming in 🖤 all babies are dumbo and all have some kind of rexoid gene in them. This litter has the possibility of rex, double rex, teddy rex and velveteen coats so I’m super excited to see what comes in!
