My Mother-in-law is in failing health & needs to rehome her dog. She lives in Boothwyn, PA, which is right at the PA/DE border.
Her dog's name is Little Bear. She's a 7 year old Husky/GSD mix, but is small- about 65 #. Little Bear gets along well with other animals, when properly introduced. She has experience being around other dogs, cats & even a pig! She is accepting of kids if treated well. She has been around young children & babies with no concerns.
Little Bear is very playful, loving & cuddly. I have personally spent time with her & she warmed up quickly to me, even the 1st time I met her.
She is a medium-energy dog, who is happy to lounge at home all day, or play outside in the yard. She loves to play fetch & is familiar with many obedience commands (sit, down, stay, etc.) She has no health issues or known allergies.
Little Bear is accustomed to having a fenced in yard, where she plays & goes potty. She will walk on a leash, but is a bit of a puller & escape artist.
She's a really sweet dog & needs rehomed for no reason other than my Mother-in-law is not able to take care of her anymore. My husband & I are unable to take her due to pet restrictions where we live. We are in Newark, DE & will coordinate her rehoming.
We are hoping to rehome her quickly, but will be asking for Veterinary references & a rehoming fee, to ensure that she goes to a wonderful & loving home.
Here are some pictures of Little Bear. You can see her here with kids, dogs & cuddling me. Please let me know if you have anymore questions.
