The hair that grows between the paw pads help protect the paw from any damage, whether it be scratches, slices, or burns and frost bite! Though if overgrown can cause ice and other harmful debris to get lodged in the paw pads! Also bringing in dirty paws, with a new sense of unbalance on slippery tile.

Shaving this excess hair can make the feet much easier to maintain a clean house, as well as keeping your pet comfortable!
