🐴❤️Happy Retirement Benny🐴❤️ Approximately one month ago, we made the decision to retire Benny (Broken Heart) from the show ring. He is still sound and willing, but at 18 and a half years old, we know those legs have seen their fair share of jumping. Benny was a quirky horse, to say the least, and our journey together got off to a rocky start. While he is the sweetest and kindest boy at home, he is also incredibly strong and powerful in the ring. A mutual respect had to be patiently developed to earn the trust and loyalty of such an amazingly intelligent animal, and it made our moments of success that much sweeter. These last 4 years with Benny have taught us how to be better riders and horseman and we are forever grateful for all of the lessons learned and the memories made. Thank you Ben 🥰🥹
