Meet Gracie, a 2 year old female Congo African Grey for sale!
•
She has plucked her feathers due to stress in her previous home and in the right environment, they can grow back (even though she is just as beautiful and sweet without them)! Gracie, like most other African greys, is on the quieter side for a bird her size. African greys tend to not thrive in noisy/hectic environments, and this was the case for Gracie. She must go to a home without dogs which seem to be her trigger for plucking- she would do best in a home on the quieter side and ideally as the only bird. Come in to meet Gracie any day of the week between 10 am and 5 pm! We will be happy to answer any of your questions and help you see if you Gracie could be a good fit for you.

Parrots use their beak much like we use our hands. They use it to move around, explore, climb and sometimes to bite or defend themselves.

The reasons why a parrot may bite are varied, and can depend hugely on the environment and individual situation!
