Johnson K9s Robert and Barbara Johnson (formally known as Barbara Earnhardt of EK-9s) has been breeding, training, and working Shepherds for over 33 years combined.

Specializing in breeding German Shepherds that went in to: Medical Service dogs, Personal Protection, AKC/UKC Sports, Family Companions, Police K9s and Search and Rescues. We raise our puppies/dogs to be well balance that can be versatile in work, sports, and being a member of the family.

Update on Nina: Nina was the hit of the show at the Davie County Humane Society's fundraiser held at Bermuda Run Country Club on Saturday. We are members of Iredell Search and Rescue and the North Carolina Trooper's Association K-9 Unit.

Hello Everyone, as many of you heard or read it's been a rough year losing Robert in March and then losing my brother Mikey in July. Like everything else life keeps moving and goes on, with that said I want to say THANK YOU all for being patient with me, life is getting back to normal (as it can be). I have many updates that need to be posted! So many great things are happening with everyone's puppies. PLEASE feel free to send up-dated pictures and information on your babies as I would love to hear about them and see how they are growing.

Update- Pebbles is now in Georgia in training for a police department, Ruby is now in training in NC with a police department (3rd dog from litter K to make it on department), OG and Dobby are now with Allen (Dobby;s breeder) his plans are to get titles on them, Phantom is also placed with our daughter in law in VA. Miss China will be going back to Florida to retire (so fitting LOL).

Mrs China is looking for a retirement home that she will be spoiled and loved on (she is missing her owner Robert) She is clean, easy to keep, loves to snuggle and lay on the bed. she listens well and loves to ride. She is current on Vet work. Very healthy older female. Please pm if interested

It is with a heavy heart I write this tonight........On March 22 2024 We lost Robert Johnson to Covid. It has been a long week here at Johnson K9s. With that said I am going to be down sizing the kennel, Pebbles (Spoken for) Ruby (Pending), OG (Pending) and Dobby (Pending) will all be available for homes. All dogs are up to date on vet work, AKC reg, 4 generation Pedigree, 272 DNA tested all clear and micro chip. This is not easy to do but for the welfare of the dogs it is best. Please let me know if you have any questions. Barbara

Due to health situations beyond our control Johnson K9s will not be having any spring, summer or fall litters, all training classes will also be put on hold. We are sorry for any inconvenience this might cause but health issues takes top priority. We hope you all are enjoying your puppies! Barbara
