Happy happy new year!!

Just a reminder I'm not back until next week 9th January.

I hope the holidays have been restful and full of cheese and wine!!

Not our busiest year last year but exceptionally stressful situation at home and with my wee Poppy, and one mum can only do so much.

I'm still recovering from the serious injuries from my crash but the fight for our disabled child since covid has been soul destroying.

Education Tribunals & literally fighting the establishment for Poppy and I made the choice to step back, reduce my diary and hours and focus on my family life.

Obviously losing Fergus was a huge unexpected blow too and has changed the dynamics of my business entirley.

New year
New challenges
New & exciting plans and changes too so stay tuned.

So I've been hiding and burying my head in the mud, like oor wee Penny here!! 🤗😂🤗

Losing Fergus has literally broken my heart.

Having built the whole business around him, it's been a tough few weeks of adjusting.

We have also been completely plagued by bad luck, mostly with vans!

But not exclusive by any manner 😂😂 few injuries and illnesses but these vans!!

The vans, yes plural VANS!!
My van, her van AND a spare van have allllll decided to kick the bucket!!!

Alright Mrs universe - we hear you!!

We pulled oor breeks up and got stuck in teamwork style! even during a big freeze 🥶 and kept trying!

It's been nothing short of a
Disasterous month and thats not even starting on, broken bones, injuries, dislocated discs, general germs and illness this time of year brings with working outside!!! 😷😷🤧🤧

(I love my job, I really love my job! 😂😂)
All tinged with total heartbreak of losing Fergus so quickly and just too young.

I've taken refuge in my pack to heal my wee broken furry heart so have been rubbish with updated and posts but I'm still here - just the only time in life, I'm actually quiet 🤫🤫

Thank you to every single one of you for supporting me this year, it's been ruuuuuufff!

But we are still wagging oor tails and laughing 🤍🤍🤍🤍

It's been a tough few weeks at HQ adjusting.

But we also have an exceptionally stressful fight for our disabled child right now.

Our life is not easy - this fight had been ongoing for years.

We are being hammered by our local council, fighting for years now, to access basic Human Rights. Enough is enough and I need my dragon fire of passion directed firmly in the right position.

I have chosen to take time, work reduced numbers and reduced hours and a step back from new dogs or clients and keeping focus on my family and home life for now ☺️

I am so glad we did so many amazing camping trips with you this year big man!!

You were a total boss and adored us all spending time outside as a family 💗💗

The training and E-collar freedom changed your life and I will never regret giving you as much time and effort as you deserved, to be the happiest off lead husky possible.

This is the perfect video of my teeny weeny and smallest (in size only!!) Pack member rainbow and Fergus showing her the ropes! Teaching her that well trained and properly socialised huge dogs are nothing to fear.

He's actually hunting for mice in one vid and it completely shows, his balanced training and ability to know other dogs.

Lots of people do not allow Husky breed near small animals due to prey drive but Fergus knows the difference between a dug n a mouse!

I'm not saying a cat or hare wouldn't be worth a chase or am I saying off lead training him was easy but I will be sharing our fails as well as our successes 😍😍😍

My furry wee heart is shattered into a million pieces of husky hair and lost dreams without you Fergus and words cannot describe how much I miss you!!

Being a husky mammy and deciding to fight mother nature, was the hardest thing I've ever done in my life!

I know people say 'my dog changed my life' but I changed my life around my dog!

And you changed everything for me too!!

I was ready for the physical challenge of having a husky BUT being owned by a husky and realising you actually inherited a fully formed intelligent teenager;
Who was ready to answer back and give you cheek; it is then you realise WTAF have I gotten myself into!!

Not being the kind of person to do any task half arsed -we hit the ground running and you literally changed my life!!

Everyone says that s**t, but I mean that from my hairy toes and heart Fergus - you taught me so much!!

I will have a well socialised, 50kg wolf that plays well with others OFF LEAD!!

You took the p**s, you ran, you pushed every single boundary!!

But our bond , big man; the work, the training and the non conforming to society and breed misconceptions made us!! And made you my cuntybaws!!

You broke me and pushed me but I made you the most Non Husky,Husky anyone would be privileged to be part of their life.

I was determined I would not conform to breed traits or people's misconceptions of you!
I was adamant you WOULD have an off lead life with every single dog breed you could ask for and you smashed it!

You may have noticed we have been very quiet.

I've cut my books back and taken a step back to focus on Fergus.

I'm heartbroken even writing this, but Fergus has sustained an injury that he will never recover from.

We have weighed up every single option.

He will never be allowed off lead again or to play with other dogs again, and for such an amazingly well socialised pack animal, this is nothing short of cruel.

I will update more properly but right now we are heartbroken and spending out last few hours with our cuntybaws wolf before he is put to sleep.

Wee junior Josh totally smashed his sponsored Tinto run!!

Massive well done to all the students that dedicated and completed the sponsored run up Tinto at a distance of 4.2 miles 🥊

We had lads as young as 5 years + taking part aswell as some of our junior amateur boxers

🚫Do not let your dog in the water at Lanark Loch🚫

We have been made aware that there is blue algae in the water at Lanark Loch with very poor signage to inform the public of this.

Sadly, exposure to toxic blue-green algae is often fatal, and can also cause long term health problems in dogs that survive after drinking or swimming in algae-contaminated water. Some types of blue-green algae can kill a dog just 15 minutes to an hour after drinking contaminated water
