A lot of people who follow this page already know a bit about Stirrup N Style, for those who don’t, hello there, I go by Siren, and I’m the sole owner and employee of Stirrup N Style, meaning whenever you comment, email, or message this page, you will ONLY be dealing with me, a real live human being and horse person with over 20 years experience.
I take extreme pride in helping others in nearly any way I can, in my local community I began to see a lack of chances for fair and honest consignment and in-budget options. After a decade of selling my own tack I decided to turn my horse treat business into a tack sale and consignment business instead.
Some principles I have when it comes to selling and taking on tack:
-No piece of equipment is worth risking your or your horses life. Meaning everything I sell is at full disclosure, gets tested for stability and soundness, and I do my absolute best to make sure it’s a fair and honest deal.
-I work with you, how many tack businesses can you name that offer payment plans on a case by case basis? Or personal shopping to help you find what you need in your budget for just a small negotiable fee? Or will consult with you for free on judgement and opinion of what may help you and your horse best? Or that can send you resources that can help if I can’t?
-Everyone, regardless of dicipline, regardless of who they are in status, gender, orientation, economic class, etc. gets treated the same 🙂
I have worked with high end clientele in my life and I’ve worked with people who think of themselves as complete nobodies, a human is a human.
-Reiterating my first point, I am a horse person, I don’t sell ANYTHING I would not feel okay with using on a horse or myself, so no- We will not be selling helmets secondhand, or expired, or anything that can’t be cleaned easily.
