Morning everyone!!

Just a paws up to reassure everyone with appointments this week and the weather getting warmer especially today!

🙌We have the best air con unit which shall be in on during your dogs appointment.

💦We will ensure your dog gets many drink breaks too ….even deliver to the table with fresh refrigerated water!

📞We will phone you as soon as your dog is ready to ensure the dogs are not out in the heat for too long!

🚗Please feel free to park around the side of the cabin to avoid the dogs walking on the hot gravel, You can Leave the aircon running so the dog is nice and cool on the drive home, as we can come and take payment at the side fence!

❌Please don’t feed your dogs 1 hour prior to their appointment as this can make them become poorly during the grooming process, with the weather being so hot and them travelling in the car! Also please do not walk your dogs to us as it’s extreme heat they will be at risk of heat stroke and possibly far worse in some cases!

‼️Don’t forget to use your spare bandanas in water or the freezer to keep your dog cool!

If you are at all concerned about your dogs grooming appointment with this heat please do get in touch!

🦷Emmi-pet teeth cleaning explained!! 🦷

Many of you ask for more information about the ultrasonic Emmi-pet toothbrush so here’s a little more information about how it works…..

It generates up to 96 million ultrasonic waves per minute, which combined with the Emmi-pet’s specially formulated toothpaste it creates microbubbles that implode to remove food particles, plaque and bacteria. Emmi-pet teeth cleaning is a treatment process which may require multiple sessions to loosen, hardened plaque and tartar effectively and safely. To make your dog, teeth, healthier and happier patience is necessary to make sure your dog has a smile to be truly proud of!

‼️Please note if we detect severe tartar that may be covering holes, roots, exposer or loose teeth. Your dog will have to be referred to the vet before proceeding with any teeth treatment! A declaration and signature is required to begin any Emmi-pet teeth cleaning!

Morning all,

As we are all aware the temperature is getting to 25 degrees today!

🐾The salon does have amazing aircon.

🐾We have fresh Cold bowls of water.

🐾 Please don’t walk your dog to us today, and please make sure the car is cool enough for the dog!

🐾 Please also don’t feed your dogs and hour before their appointment.

🐾Only a couple of degrees can send a dog into heat stroke.

🐾We will aim to groom your dogs as soon as possible to still the highest standards but our main priority as always will be their welfare in this heat!

🐾 We do still have some but limited frozen treats and Frozzy’s still available (another order has gone in!)

If you are concerned at all about your dog please do not hesitate to get in touch! ❤️💙🐾

👋 We are back from holiday!

Thank you for everyone’s lovely messages whilst I’ve been away and we had a wonderful relaxing holiday!

Hello everyone, just letting everybody know we are taking a well earned break so we are back fighting fit for a very busy and fun summer ahead!

The salon will be closed from Wednesday the 3rd of July until Thursday the 11th of July when all calls, messages and emails will be replied to then!

‼️🪥🪥EMMI-PET-ultrasonic toothbrushing service is now fully GO GO GO!!

Why choose this new service? Emmi- pet toothbrush is a fantastic way to keep on top of your dogs dental hygiene. Most dogs from the age of two will begin dental disease. You might think your dogs teeth look lovely & white but it is between all the gumline that’s also important.

Plaque is caused by bacteria building up around the dogs, gumline & teeth, often caused by food particles getting lost in the crevices of the teeth, some dogs get a quicker build up than others, depending on their dental health.

If Plaque is left untreated it combines minerals in the mouth of a thick, hard layer of tartar or calculus. If plaque & tartar is left untreated this can lead to periodontal disease, infection, abscesses, and a whole host of other dental health issues. Plaque & tartar buildup, is fully preventable by starting out with a regular dental care routine with your dog.

The first session is £40.00 which will include your dogs own unique toothbrush head, which will be stored here safely & securely under infection control measures.

The maintenance sessions are £30.00 which hopefully we can do when they have their grooming appointments all depending on the state of their teeth, as we may have to sometimes do the sessions a little closer together to get on top of their dental hygiene.

Please note: under the royal veterinary college we are only allowed to do so much with the teeth, if we think their is more of a health risk to your dog we will refer your dog to the vet to have a health check if we deem it necessary.

Please get in touch if you would like to make sure your dog has something to smile about! If you would also like to send us a photo of your dogs teeth so we can have a look & see if this service is suitable for them, then please do so!!

We have a lot of exciting stuff launching this June!!!

I know, so many of you are waiting very patiently for the new service of the EMMI-PET ULTRASONIC TEETH CLEANING!!🪥🦷🐾
We have successfully passed the training, but we are waiting for one more exciting package to arrive through the post, then we can GO GO GO!!!!!! We want to make sure your dog has the best smile around town!! (there will be a much more in-depth post regarding the emmi- pet ultrasonic tooth cleaning next week!!)

We are also very excited to announce FROZZY’S Frozen yoghurt for dogs will be making a comeback this month! We know how popular these were last year, so we’re bringing them in even earlier this year-Yipee!!!!! (These will be available from Tuesday 4th June!)🍦🐾⛱️
