There is going to be a bit of a delay with the results so apologies in advance. But we’re looking at getting them to you towards the end of next week. Will let you know a date and time as soon as we can 😊

Generally we do not open the entry videos until after the closing date, just so we can save them all at once.

We will reply to say your entry has been received once we have done so.

Then an entry list will be posted on here so if anyone has been missed off, it can be amended!

Still plenty of time to learn your test, practise and film before Thursday’s closing date!

Here’s the Class 4 special event test for this competition - a *new* pole challenge. It comes with a diagram on how to set the poles up in the full schedule that can be sent out to you if you pm us your email address 😊
There are many benefits to pole work as well as this being a fun way to get involved in our Dressage competition.

There is also a lead rein version for Class 5!

Regarding our ‘Parisian’ theme for February’s competition….

Originally we intended for just the schedule, rosettes and prizes to fit in with the theme. But a few of you have approached us to ask if you can dress up for this. And the answer is, yes of course!

Like with our Halloween and Christmas specials, we just ask that you use correct safety equipment (hat/boots) and check your horse is happy with your outfit choice!

To any new or old followers that don’t really know what we’re about…

We are a South West based Online Dressage series.

We run throughout the academic year Sept-Aug with competitions every other month. The series finishes in style with a Championship (points gained throughout the series) and Awards Presentation.

This series uses its own Dressage tests that you won’t find anywhere else. Intro, Prelim, Novice & Elementary style tests. PLUS a lead rein and in hand section. AND a special event class which comprises of a freestyle to music, pole challenges, Halloween special and much more!

We’ve been running for 4 years now and have a fabulous support network including some fantastic sponsors.

Our goal is to make Dressage and competing in general, more easily accessible. To help you improve, attain goals and ultimately grow together. And most importantly to ENJOY doing all of this with your horse. 🐴

If you have read the rules in our latest schedule, you will have noticed that we now accept bitless bridles as well as any snaffle type bits.

Cross under (like the one pictured) and side pull bitless bridles are acceptable. If you are unsure, please do message to check 😊

There will also be some other exciting changes coming up this series which are more in line with our values at HQ and we hope you will fully support ❤️

After the first two competitions of the series, these are the current standings…

Those of you in Class 2a might find yourself with an extra point or 2 than expected. Only due to a competitor accidentally being in the wrong section - now moved to 2b.

Please do check the age limits on the classes when you book in, although it’s worth noting that the age restrictions are from the beginning of the series. So you don’t need to swap classes part way through 😊

Purely for interest and maybe a little inspiration…. Here’s Tila & Leo competing in a Novice freestyle to music earlier this year. BD standards so they do expect more than we do with our dressage to music classes here. And this is also in a 20x60 arena. But the same principles apply, there were requirements on the test sheet and marks given for each of the moves. Plus marks for rhythm, harmony, choreography and music interpretation. They also expect a halt & salute at the start of the BD tests. These are NOT expected in ours, but are allowed if you want to 😊 Music by Equidance
