I just received a notification from my phone that this photo was taken two years ago today. It’s hard to think it’s already been two years since Murph said goodbye.

This lil tattoo is so unbelievably important to me. It is a form of closure on the nostalgic days, a sense of comfort on the hard ones, and a way to remember when I’m missing him most.

Hello!!👋🏻 Alexi here, the face behind MURPHS. For I want to quickly introduce myself and tell you a bit about who I am.

I am 24 and live in Toronto, ON. I work full time at a small/ independent pet supply store and handcraft pet bandanas on the side.

I have two older sisters (the youngest of 3).

I’ve loved animals since I was a kid and naturally gravitate towards them.

I’m very much introverted and can be quite shy and awkward around people I don’t know.

The newest member of my family is Kashi (.to) - a rescue from Texas with a huge personality. Honestly, he makes up for my shyness.

I’m terrible with remembering peoples names, but remember all of the names of the dogs I meet.

Today marks two years without Murphy. It’s a really hard day for me, but knowing his memory lives on in MURPHS and sharing that with you, makes it easier.
