I’m happy to let you all know that my Etsy shop is now back open! My arm is still healing but I am able to do a limited amount of sewing now 😄 If you’ve ever fancied getting an embroidered tote bag, now is your time too!

I made this cube a few days ago for someone who’s adopting some ratties soon and it made me think I should be offering medium & large cubes in double fleece as they hold their shape so well! So hopefully one day soon I’ll pop a new listing up! 🌈 🐀

Poor little Toad is having to wear this sock jumper at the moment due to not leaving the site where his implant went in alone 😣 hopefully a few days of leaving it alone will give it the opportunity to heal nicely. Luckily he lives in a really cool room at the moment so not too worried about him having the jumper on, although we may have to reevaluate on Monday!

Anyone else find themselves always at the vets?! Little Piglet (in the middle) has been an absolute star having been back and fourth over the last two months for respiratory issues and skin problems. He’s stable at the moment thankfully, and just been so great with everything he’s had to go though.

In this pic they are munching on coriander, Piglet had an anaesthetic to get a new sample of the bacteria in his lungs to work out if it’s mutated / what’s the latest in terms of antibiotic resistant, last sample the bacteria was resistant to 7 antibiotics which is a scary situation to be in!

🐀New hammock alert 🐀

I wanted to create another animal shaped cube and this time designed it based on a rat! Simple colours, but I think will be very sweet with a lil ratty cosied up inside!

As always my cubes are made with two layers of fleece, which helps the hammocks last longer against chewing! They have my new stronger straps, and sewn in clasps, so you can pop them straight in the cage!

Recently I was involved in a rat breeding out of control rescue situation. So far over 150 rats have been caught from this one house where rats were having free run of the house and even were in the floor boards and walls too.

If you can offer some rats an amazing home contact Rattus Rat Rescue in Hastings and I believe there are also still a few needing homes who went to Gerbil Rodent Rescue in London.
