Our profile picture/spokes cat/& my grandcat Gilligan crossed rainbow bridge yesterday. My 9 year old grandson is going to miss his best friend and couch potato buddy very much. G was around 12 years old and came from the local shelter. He will also be very missed by this grandma. 💔 Please keep his boy and family in your prayers.

It's International Do Not Declaw Day! There are many painless ways to prevent furniture getting destroyed besides amputating their toes at the knuckle!!!! Would you want all of your fingers amputated at the last knuckle? Trim those nails! Have caps added to each nail! Have multiple scratchable objects available for them!

For my 49th birthday Sunday I am requesting Stamps! I have 100 Paw Project pamphlets to mail out and did NOT realize how expensive they are now! I am dedicating my 50th year on earth to saving cats from being declawed. Can't wait to see what progress I make before my 50th birthday next year!!!! All stamps will be used for Cat Paws Matter-Kansas outreach. I'm also able to accept $$ through Facebook Messenger. I will use any extra $$ to purchase blank note cards I send out thanking the Veterinarians who refuse to declaw. Thank you to all who donate! You guys!!!! I called Go Blue Printing & Apparel in Topeka today to get prices for printing The Paw Projects "Paws to consider" pamphlet. He is giving us 100 copies for FREE!!!! I can't wait to get them in the hands of humane societies and veterinarians in Kansas to help educate adopters and cat parents on what declawing really is!!!!! 🥰🥰🥰

Today I began my 1st project. Spoke with 24 Veterinary Clinics in the Topeka, Lawrence, & Jefferson County areas. 90 minutes later I know only 5 DO NOT declaw. Next I will write those 5 Vets thank you cards on behalf of Cat Paws Matter-Kansas and our spokes cat Gilligan. If any of you have a declawed cat that you either made an uneducated mistake and declawed or that became a member of your family after being declawed please share their name and picture with the group so they may also be spokes cats.🐱🐈🐈‍⬛🐅🐆🦁
