Very sadly, Belle has fallen very ill and has been hospitalized since Friday. She has had some mobility issues for a while now and has been on pain management treatment and specialized care from our vet since February. I was planning to bring her for X-rays this week on the front left leg that gives her the most issues, to check for hairline fractures or whatnot. Belle had other plans.
About a month ago I moved Belle into a different pen, a brand new one I built, along with Romeo and Bella, my OG King & Queen. They are by far the oldest, move the slowest, and also needed to be extra retired. The girls took a couple of days to adjust, then didn't really pay much mind to each other after, Romeo was pretty indifferent from the start. Belle got to enjoy making a new mud hole just for herself, found this great little fallen tree to lay up on along side with her pillow, and I put a sunshade over the spot for her.
Then, in the middle of last week, Belle stopped eating. I contacted New Bolton out in PA, who did such an amazing job with Harley earlier this year, and where I was going for Belle's Xrays this week. That is where she has been since Friday. Other than the mobility issues themselves, they have found a lot of comorbidities internally that has her very sick. The main issue right now is that she has a pyometra, which is an infection in the uterus, and there has not been much improvement as of yesterday, unfortunately. That's the first thing that needs to be tackled rn, and they are doing everything they can!
I am heading back out there today to see her, bring her all her favorite treats and snacks and strength and love that I can! Please please please keep her in your thoughts, pray to whatever God/alien/spirit you believe in, and send positive healing vibes to this beautiful Belle Belle so she can come home!!!

I have been trying to wrap my head around this and still need answers, but want everyone to know that Cambri passed away around noon yesterday. These are the worst f**king things to have to write. As many of you know, she has been ill for a little while now. I thought she was doing better. She had good moments, and great moments. I have over 13 minutes of video of just her in my phone, of her out and about the pen Monday; waging her tail, laying in the sun, eating cucumbers and carrots. I was hoping soon to making a compilation video of her overcoming whatever this was, but now I will try and make one for a celebration of her life.
I am trying to be as positive as possible. I am trying to focus on her having her own hut and space for the first time in her life, while in the quarantine pen. She got to spread out, sleep in, relax, make her own spots in the pen, to nest under the sun and anything she wanted. She got the best treats, food and diet she has ever had and she was completely spoiled, and she deserved it. Cambri was always skittish of people and even just being touched. Giving her injections the last few weeks proved very difficult at times but I figured out a system to get them done as quickly as possible with the least amount of stress to her.
The only times I was able to physically touch her to show her love, was when she was napping or sleeping, and once she woke up enough to realize I was, she would get startled so I would stop. Yesterday, I was able to give her the most love I ever have and even some really good belly rubs that she woke up enough for and even adjusted so I could get to her whole belly. As amazing as that was, I also knew it may not have been a good sign. I tried to get her up after that and realized she couldn't stand on her own and panicked. I ran to get her transport crate, I called my Vet who was unfortunately tied up in a surgery helping another animal. I called around to every place possible before I found one that would see her
Sometimes, sweet man Jesse tries to hide from the goats behind his hut 🤣🥰
Thank you all for sending your positive vibes and energy for Cambri! She is slowly doing a little better each day! Here is a quick video from the other day of the inside of her current quarantine hut, where I am pretty sure she loves having all to herself! 😁😍
When you're done eating and just want to go lay down and nap, but your sister already finished and laid down blocking the door hahaha
With this little alien eyed love, Winnie... All. The. Time. 🥰
