Only took 10 months, but I finally finished the fenced area for our goatie girls! They definitely seem pleased with it. Fingers crossed it will continue to contain the cute little heifers

Our Homestead Journey
We’ve always been in love with animals. In 2017 we started “rescuing” chicks who were struggling to survive at the feed store Abby worked at. From there we fell in love with chickens and expanded to Silkies and Easter Eggers, discovered Showgirls, and began breeding and selling in 2019. We bought our first goats, Noni (F1 Mini Nubian) and Willie (Nigerian Dwarf), in spring of 2018. We have since expanded to registered Mini Nubians, and are looking forward to offering registered Mini Nubians as well as goat milk products in the future. All of our animals are treated with the utmost respect and raised as naturally as possible. We enjoy the simple life of our homestead and hope to educate others on the value and joys of this way of life.
