Who's looking for the ultimate companion dog? Do you long for unconditional love? Would you love a dog who adores cuddling on the couch, in your bed or curled up by your your side? Who watches your every move? Yes? Well, Bella Brooke is your girl. This 37 pound, 5 year old redhead is perfectly house trained, excellent on a leash and wants nothing except to be loved.
Bella has been adored her whole life. She was tearfully and selflessly surrendered to ASF when her human fell on hard times. Because her owner was deaf, she's not the best at voice commands, but she is a very fast learner (especially if treats are involved!!). She learned to sit in an hour and will eagerly learn more from whomever is lucky enough to call her family.
Bella is good with other dogs, but does not want to engage in play, so a calm, mature companion dog would be fine. That being said, she would be great as your only child, too. She'd prefer someone who is home most of the time, but is fine when left free in the house. She doesn't require a big yard and is hesitant to roam around by herself. She thrives meeting new people and because of that and with proper training, she would be an excellent therapy dog. She also adores children of any age, but keep in mind that she is not a rambunctious dog who wants to do tricks and play games. She really just wants to be with her people.
All adoption fees are used for future rescue efforts.
