It was a total Vanilla Latte day today. She’s so smart! I’m sure she’ll be able to do any sport, any activity and give the most love!

All dogs have imperfections, as do we all. However, it is important to view those imperfections in relation to what the dog will be asked to do. If we cannot recognize structural weaknesses or faults in our dogs, we risk the quality of their lives, not to mention the quality of our breeding programs. Thus knowledge is more than power – it is a substantial component to the future well-being of our breeds.

This is Latte. We have decided to let her go be a beloved companion. She is a wonderful puppy with beautiful Papillon structure. She wears a pirate’s eye patch. Latte is smart and learning to house train as well as spending time on her own away from sister for short periods. We’re playing bonding games which are teaching her to look to me for positive feedback and company. She’ll be ready in 3-4 more weeks.

Tipsy is ready for her next adventure. Her co-owner and I feel that she has good potential as a show puppy. A copy of her pedigree is attached. Victor is her littermate. Interested parties please send a message.

Happy 9-weeks, girlies! I love these 2, but what’s not to love? They’re sired by my boy Merlin and out of my darling girl, Roya, who is owned by my friend Stephanie. The first Heartworks litter on both sides, 😊💕🍾

UPDATE: Victor has been claimed. If you are interested in a puppy like him, I can add you to my list.

This is Victor. He’s a very lovely young man. Easily trained, pretty much housebroken, and I think he’d make an excellent show prospect. I’m thinking (based on what his dam has produced in the past) that he will attain full coat between 1 & 2 years of age, so he’d be best with someone who is okay waiting until he’s ready for conformation. Maybe Rally or Obedience work would be good.

He is getting his leash basics now, and I’ll be starting him with sit, stay, etc. He knows stand, wait and kennel up. He comes when called, especially if I shake the plastic treat bag!

I’d like to use the word enablement here. It’s lately gotten a very bad reputation. I have my own opinions as to the reasons, but in reality, it’s a neutral word.

Without enablement, or someone enabling me to have access to better dogs than I would hope for, I wouldn’t be able to imagine, much less live with these two beautiful dogs. This is my next pairing, Lord and timing willing.

Enablement used to help another succeed is worthy of the term.

Happy Friday! I’d like to introduce Carpathian Heartworks Victor. He is out of Startymes Carpathian Mystic Witch and sired by CH Heartworks Joy of Magic.

We are enjoying watching this first born of Merlins’ grow up and hoping he’ll follow in his daddy’s footsteps.
