Let it be known to the public that:

1. On December 12, 2023, our attorney sent a legal hold notice to one who shall not be named (hereinafter referred to as individual #1) to preserve all evidence relating to their continual harassment and defamation of our founder and rescue organization. The preservation of evidence relates to Messenger messages of any type, phone records, voicemail, emails, texts, Facebook posts among others, between individual #1 and their squad of flying monkeys who has played a role in harassing and stalking us since 2020.

2. Our founder is being harassed and blackmailed by text from 517-37x-2### with threatening, menacing, and intimidating messages intended to cause emotional distress. There have also been voicemails that the wireless service provider can substantiate. Examples of text messages include "I will come after you", "You will be sorry", "I can create trouble for you". We know this person's (hereinafter individual #2) identity as well as other pertinent information, such as their state registration/ licensing number for their occupation. They are apparently "friends" with individual #1.

All information relating to this matter, including circumstances and to the extent possible, actual individuals involved (including, but not limited to, the "Real Housewives of Chicago", many of the same protagonists as the Facebook saga of a dog named LilBoo, "trusted rescuer", and more...) will also be posted publicly on our website at this link: www.lahpstr.com/harassment, and updated over time. A more detailed version of this post is already published at the link provided.

Our Board of Directors has voted to make public the evidence in our possession from 2018 onward that support our claim of continual harassment not only by individual #1 (who had been explicitly told by email on May 24, 2021 that further discussion was futile), but also the repeated online stalking and harassment by their squad of flying monkeys who has been feeding the paranoia and hysteria of individual #1 since 2020/21, even as these people collectively pretend to be above drama and the victims. This phenomenon may be what is called obsession or hyperfixation.

Over the coming weeks, we will be steadily uploading to our website Messenger messages, call logs, emails, cease and desist letters, reviews to substantiate who harassed and defamed whom.

Context is everything! This situation reminds us of a rescue director who shall not be named who made a post about their organization closing down but, instead of saying that they provided substandard care to at least two of their dogs, and had not been tax-compliant for three consecutive years, conveniently shifted the blame and failed to mention that their nonprofit status had actually been revoked by the IRS.

We know that our community will be shocked and dismayed by what has been going on because in large part, we kept quiet. After all, just because some spew out trash, it does not mean that we are in the business of digging through garbage. However, the stalking has been continual and it was high time that we address what has been going on, especially after we came to know certain sad facts about the dog of individual #1 that highlight their hypocrisy.

‘Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse;
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there;
The children were nestled all snug in their beds,
With no thought of the DOG filling their heads;
And mamma in her kerchief, and I in my cap,
Knew he was cold, but didn’t care about that.
When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from the bed to see what was the matter.
Away to the window I flew like a flash,
Figuring the dog was free and into the trash.
The moon on the breast of the new-fallen snow
Gave the luster of midday to objects below,
When what to my wandering eyes should appear,
But Santa Claus—HIS EYES FULL OF TEARS!
He unchained the dog, once so lively and quick,
Last year’s Christmas present, now so thin and so sick.
More rapid than eagles he called the dog’s name.
And the dog ran to him, despite all of his pain;

I knew in an instant there would be no gifts this year,
For SANTA CLAUS had made one thing quite clear;
The gift of a dog is not just for the season,
We had gotten the pup for all the wrong reasons.
In our haste to think of giving the children a gift,
There was one important thing that we had sadly missed.

Millie (Audra) Adoption Pupdate

Audra Ranger, now known as Millie, is living her best life in Florida. ☘️💚🤍🧡🍀

She has come a long way from the matted mess she was when found as a stray in Canton, MI. She is loved and cherished, with a large extended family to dote on her. No more neglected!

Earlier this year, she lost her adopted brother, Ronan Ranger, to heart failure, and is now back to being a single furbaby.

We would like to start this week by thanking our vet at Personalized Veterinary - Behavior and Rehabilitation.

Not only does Dr. V show the patience and compassion our special dogs need, but also his generosity in more ways than one is truly humbling for our rescue. Ours is a partnership, rather than a top-down approach. Dr. V shares research data for treatments, new therapies etc. We can ask questions. It also is a boon that he is a vet behaviorist.

Every single one of our furbabies is happy to see him on vet days. If a new intake has any fear, they soon overcome it.

Thank you, Dr. V, for being you. We are certain all rescue groups that work with you feel fortunate to have you in their team. 🍀💚🤍🧡☘️
