Morning!
We are going to try star staying out longer. Sue can you please just bring Charlotte in from today and we’ll see how star and sky getting on staying out.

Sarah is going to organise Will bringing up some straw. We will start with just putting the stinky ones on it (sonny and cami) as they use the most shavings.
Hopefully the shaving supply won’t run out, however if they don’t run out but prices go up we then may not be able to afford them!
Hopefully the straw is just a back up plan but best to be organised!
Stay safe troops!

Morning,
It would seem that panic buying has also hit shavings 😩 we ordered from our normal suppliers 2 weeks ago and we have had an email saying they won’t have anymore on island until Monday. We will have to try and make do until then. 😭
Keep safe everyone!

Hi,
I couldn’t push the bale in on my own. I will ask Degsey to bring some more and to roll them in for us. This won’t be until tomorrow morning but I’m pretty sure they will all have enough to last x

27/03/2020

Morning,
I wonder whether it is time for sue and jo to also come up to the yard at separate times and we skip out, hay and feed Charlotte, Peggy and star as well? This will be in line with the latest guidelines and the bhs recommendations?
Let me know thoughts, difficult for all involved I know x

Helllooooo!
Hope today went well for everyone! Cronky was beautiful this morning and all horses went well 💕
So you may not have heard the latest minister announcement but IOM is now in lockdown with essential trips only...my mum and dad will be very pleased I got their bucket load of wine today!
As far as I am aware horses are still classed as essential however we will have to play this by ear.
As it stands we will stick with the plan and keep away from each other!
At the weekend I think we should go with the weekday plan and I will turn out for sue and jo and then you two just come up to get in, muck out, work girls at your 2pm ish time? Sarah you come early, ride and go.
Let me know what you think.

The British Equestrian Federation (BEF) would like to thank the equestrian community for their current support during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. These are unprecedented times for society in general and we all need to play a part in helping to manage and restrict the spread of coronavirus (...

Hi everyone, strange times ahead!
I thought it would be easier if we had a page so if we needed to communicate we can, rather than having to text everyone! We can also post nice pictures of the horses!

So...I have now been told I have to work from home and in doing so my manager has asked that I do my best to keep away from people!

These are a few suggestions...
1) if you have any symptoms please stay at home.
2) bring your own mug for tea / wine drinking
3) try and not be in tackroom, rug room, feed room together and try and keep the recommended distance if you are
4) do not share equipment - we may need own forks, brushes wheelbarrows or wear gloves
5) use the hand sanitiser when coming and going, it’s like gold dust so if anyone finds another get it!!
6) if you would rather be on the yard on your own let us know and we will try and sort that
7) for our own mental health it is important to maintain routine and structure and do what we love. Unfortunately this could all change in the coming weeks.
8 let’s help each other out if we can

Moving forward...
1) Degsey will continue to deliver Haylage
2) there will be times when I have to have belle with me and Sarah will have to have Issac
3) Alison is going to work Monday and Tuesday mornings
4) Lottie can get horses in on those days at approx 2pm. Jo to continue getting Peggy
5) Wednesday - Sunday Lottie will be at the yard very early to ride, muck out and get back in. The ONLY horses to be left out for sue to get in are Charlotte and sky (the others are too wild!!) I hope to be gone for 11 at the latest. I will turn the ones that are staying out longest at 9.30 ish and the others as soon as they have finished their breakfast. If anyone would like theirs to stay out longer then please let me know and make your own getting in arrangements.
7) weekends for liveries to continue as normal, Lottie can turn out for you when she is there if needed.
8 Eileen will be putting mine to bed, she has an autoimmune illness, so can people please leave the yard for 5pm and she will come and do them then - she is keen to do this for her own sanity! If you want haynets tying up or feeds putting in she is happy to do this.
9) I have messaged the schooling liveries asking if they want to collect their horses to do so now before they are prisoner of Cronky!!
10) I think we can continue to hack together aslong as we practice social distancing

Thank you and please add anything I have missed. Stay safe!
