We are currently seeking someone "as-needed/ temporary" horse chore help when we are away/traveling. Generally, we simplify chores to once a day while we are away and they usually take 1-2 hours. Sweetie is a pretty, 10 year old 45” welsh paint pony that we bred and raised. We have kept Sweetie for years for the girls to have a nice, reliable back-up pony in the pasture…. But we have decided that she is just too nice to be sitting and not teaching another little cowgirl/cowboy. Sweetie is not speedy, but very willing, handy and has all the buttons. Smooth gaits, will easily trot/lope off when asked and has a great whoa. Perfect little ranch, walk-trot or pleasure pony (she has a nice slow lope) Very quiet, SWEET disposition, desensitized, easy to catch, loads, good for baths & farrier, will stand for hours of grooming. Easy keeper, her only ‘maintenance’ item is that she is very sensitive to hay, does best if fed high quality small grass squares or hay cubes and kept on a type of cough-free supplement or treated with allergy meds/antihistamine when needed. Because of this, her price reflects this… A super nice pony and a good home a must! PM us or call/text James at 507-380-7857 for more details.

Well... here we are again... unfortunately we need to reschedule this Wednesday's race to MONDAY, AUGUST 28th.☹️ With near record breaking temps and heat index values up to 113 expected, we need to look at the safety of all of our equine athletes and riders. We will HOLD OVER the entries/exhibitions we received for this Wednesday's Race - so no need to enter again if you already entered.
