I am still thanking God for this incredible opportunity!Most of you will probably just see this as another trophy hunter post, but I promise you it’s not. My entire life I have been raised as a meat hunter to supply necessary food for my family. I have worked for years to manage and development proper grounds around the country for other people. I have spent countless hours working in my fathers deer processing business. Congratulating every trophy hunter along the way on their great success. I have never taken the time to prioritize a “trophy” for myself. This year, an opportunity presented itself & I took it. After a 300 yard stalk…. he was mine. Not only was this whitetail a personal record, but it was also harvested with my fathers rifle. Now considered a family heirloom - packed full of wisdom and a symbol of love. Amongst the trees is where we belong. Showing the representation of growth. Being wrapped within the strength of The Lord. Appreciation post to Ms. Luna as she found her forever home this week. She was such a pleasure to work with throughout our training program. We are excited to continue working with her son Ringo (the honoring dog in the video) until he finds his new home too.
I sometimes can’t believe this is part of what I get to do for a living.
I love getting the opportunity to work with new dogs, especially young puppies. I specialize in “woah” training to start the process of creating a stead to wing and shot dog.
