Borrowed from Another Breeder and shared💖💕
I have been asked by several breeders, what are the policies concerning deposits, placed on pups... A deposit is a down payment of money placed on something you want saved, until you send the full amount asked for by the buyer... A deposit is placed in good faith, agreeing that you will buy the dog... The breeder in return, saves the dog/pup for you exclusively...At the point that you decide to make the decision to purchase, you should be certain that this is what you want to buy...Once the deposit is made, then they buyer has committed to purchase the dog/pup... Unless the dog/pup gets sick, dies, ect...in which case the deposit would be swiftly returned to the buyer... In the event the buyer changes his/her mind... then the deposit remains with the seller.. A buyer that changes his/her mind on buying a dog.. is not a reason to get a refund of your money..... Usually a buyer that changes his/her mind has discovered another dog/pup from another breeder at a better price...or just a change of mind for other reasons...in which case, the seller/breeder has held this pup, in good faith, probably missed several other buyers in the meantime... Buyer/breeders that do this... are to be shunned..as they are not reliable buyers.. Be very sure that you want the dog /pup.. Do your homework!!......The breeder seller, has no obligation to refund any of your money...as you have probably cost them to miss other buyers...Also breeder /sellers that say they have the right to change their minds about a sale... are to also be shunned, as their word is not reliable... and this attitude, could cause a buyer to miss an opportunity to buy from another breeder....This is a contract...that is to be honoured....
Again this is borrowed and shared!! 🎀💖😜
