This is a very hard truth. Sad but true.

When I turn away a potential client...
Please know it is most often about the owner and not the severity of the dog's behavior.
I have to sense there is committed and highly responsible person on one end of the leash.
If my client radar picks up an unwillingness to CHANGE your lifestyle based on the dog you have decided to have...
We are not a good fit and frankly NO ONE IS.
Latest turn away was...
9 year old dog that owner has had for 7 years. Dog is on an invisible fence. Dog has 7 bites on record including a child, a Fedex and USPS driver.
Individual thinks beware of dog postings are his big effort into "managing" this risk to others.
Expecting a dog trainer to stop habitual aggressive behavior on a 9 year old Boxer/Pit, with extensive bite history, that is kept outdoors and unsupervised....
Sorry, we cannot help you.
"Can you recommend someone as I have talked to like a half dozen trainers and none will help and several said come to you?"
I warned him that if he keeps searching he will find a charlatan that will GLADLY take his money and fail to deliver.
So when you can't make the hard decision cuz it will break the grandkids heart...
I dust my feet off and walk away.

October and Nov are getting very close to being fully booked. Already getting Christmas, New Years and a couple Easter reservations in as well. Get them in asap before we're completely booked through the winter!

Good morning everyone. If we haven't spoke already this am just wanted to let you know we're going to wait till next weekend to start weekend classes back up due to unpredictable smoke and some have been Evacuated. Dang fires getting in the way of our fun! But everyone be safe and well see yall next weekend.
