Thank you for your interests with Chinchilla, our 5 head batch is now fully reserved. 2 clients getting a pair each & 1 previous client getting another one. We can only accomodate new inquiries after they arrive. Pls. note that we dont import for clients often, we are limiting to 5 heads again, the next batch. We intend to keep Chinchillas at our place for breeding and for pets.

Since the start of the pandemic, our plan to bring in Chinchillas had been hampered, then followed the war in Ukraine, it becomes even more difficult and expensive. We are exhausting efforts to get Chins from neighboring Singapore only to find out that the price for 1 Chin can cost up to 4K SGD for a standard color and up to 6K SGD for fancy colors. We are engaging to bring in Chins from other source, could be Poland or Russia but they ask for minimum 20 heads, in this regard, we might take orders for imported chinchillas, to reach their requirements. Note, that previously, each imported Chin only cost about 75K, now the price is likely to be around 125K, still cheap compared to buying from Singapore and shipping them.

Hi everyone, the pandemic caused the delay of importation, I was supposed to have them prior to lockdown, planning to get at least 3 pairs to start with the breeding program, unfortunately it did not materialize but I am planning to do it again by Dec or Jan as the temp goes down. Just to remind everyone, prices had spruced up, so the local bred Chin will have a sifferent price altogether.. I will post price guidance once everything come up well. Standard Grey would cost about 45K, fancier colors will be much higher. Thank you!

DO YOU REALLY WANT TO OWN A CHINCHILLA?
There are many things to considered.
First: Their price, depending on colors and mutations, Chins can cost between 20K and 50K. Standard Grey being the most common, while Gold Bar color being the most expensive.
Second: You need to put them on a nice cage set-up, with hays, Chin pellets & some treats, remember to give them cooler temperature on hot days, AC (inverter) and fans are mandatory, so expect bills to go up. During night time, fans will do on cooler temp.
Third: Breeding them takes time, better to get a pair as mating does not happen if the male is not properly introduced. They might end up fighting. Pregnancy time: 4 months
Fourth: Make sure that if you are breeding and selling that the person is capable of caring for them, choose their owners wisely... We will tackle their colors and mutations on the post :)

Hi Chinchilla lovers!!!
Owning a Chinchilla can be delightful & fun as they are cute, adorable and can learn tricks..But please note they do need a cooler place to stay..You don't have to put on aircon 24/7, as long the temp. is mild and they have lots of air. They are not for everyone too as their price does not fit everyone plus the maintenance involved. Prices for kits or young adult DEPENDS ON BREEDERS...Standard Grey is more affordable, ranges from 20K up. Rare and fanciful colors fetches higher price, depending on rarity & mutations: it could go from 30K up to 50K (local born). The food supplies, cage set-up, treats, sand baths can be bought from us once we start acquiring them...
Remember that OWNERS & BREEDERS INVESTED on acquiring, raising & caring for them. Pregnancy period is 4 months and release age could be from 2 to 3 months old, that's a lot of time compare to dogs & cats. Their average litter size is 2 with maximum of 4. So you have to factor in those points. Once you acquire them, you will start to appreciate them... Importation from our part is limited but we intend to breed & raise future delightful Chins.. I hope this helps when it comes to the QUESTION of PRICE!

This is Keizo, the little local born Chin from our first import. He lives in Alabang and according to our client, Chinchillas can thrive also with our climate, just keep them on a cooler place with fan. Give them food, water, treats & some sand bath...indeed they are a wonderful pet to own..
Since it is still lockdown, our importation is still on hold, we may not be able to answer questions dorectly because we do not have Chins avbl yet. Please do note that they are not cheap.. Happy Pet Chin day everyone!
