This is the estimate for Toby’s surgery on the 20th. We have a fundraiser going on here and we are applying for grants as well. Please consider a donation if you can. If you have Hyatt points we can use those as well. 🏨

Previous bills were $1500 at the Seattle specialty vet and $4400 at UC Davis for the first visit. In addition we have travel and accommodation expenses.

Meet Tangerine! This sweet girl came to us in May with her friend Marmalade. Both were sick with bad URIs. Tangerine wasn’t getting better and at one of her vet visits we discovered she was pregnant!! 🐱
10 days ago she gave birth to 4 healthy kittens. She has been an excellent mom.
Her foster mom noticed she wasn’t really eating much over the last few days so Tangerine went back to the vet. They did an ultrasound and discovered that her intestines are growing in to each other causing a blockage. ‼️🏥‼️
She will need to have surgery tomorrow to cut away the intruding intestine. Hopefully this will be all she needs to be healthy and happy again.
This is an unexpected expense while we are trying to save for Toby’s jaw surgery. Today’s visit was just under $500 and tomorrow’s estimate is posted in the pics. If you can donate a few dollars we would appreciate the help. 💵

Adorable Pippin has arrived! ⭐️
He is believed to be 8-10 weeks old, lab mix and just as cute as they come. 💜 He is currently soaking up all the love and attention at his wonderful foster home. Getting to know the dogs and cats. Pippin is going to make a great companion for some lucky family.

WA Gives - Give Big 2024 is here! Rescue Unleashed is participating with a fundraising goal of $5,000. These funds will be allocated to rescuing as many animals as possible in May regardless of their medical needs.
With shelters and rescues overcapacity and an all-time high of surrendered and abandoned animals your donations will help us ease the burden and be a bright light to an animal in need. Every animal deserves a chance at a happily ever after. Thank you for your support.

Hi, I’m Rocky! I’m an energetic loving boy. I live to play ball 🎾and love to swim. I’m also a great hiker and love hanging out at breweries on the weekend. I’m a well behaved boy but can get a little too excited at times, especially when a ball catches my eye. Oh and I can tell time too, I get really excited when it’s time to eat. My parents think I’m a little too obsessed. 😊

Although I’m such a sweet boy who also loves to snuggle 💜 (my hoomans let me sleep in bed with them), my best living environment does not include young kids or other dogs. While I get along with them fine and I am around kiddos and dogs often, at the end of the day I just want to relax with the adults and be their #1.

In my current living situation my brother also wants to be #1 and we sadly need to be separated. If you are an active adult looking for an active sweet boy you just found me.

Meet the new rescues! Coral, Dewy, Lucy, Ethel and Ricky ❣️
Saved from the Merced County shelter where Dewy and Coral were headed to the euthanasia room 😢 reason - for being scared and for being old. Hard to imagine. But the shelter is extremely over capacity. Hard choices have to be made. For every dog that leaves the shelter 3 more come in.
This is a societal issue. We can’t rescue our way out of it. Things will never get better until humane animal laws are passed, all breeding is regulated, spay & neuter is made affordable everywhere to everyone and people open their eyes to what is truly going on.

For now, we do what we can. Each of these souls is safe and will be cared and loved for all of their days. That is our promise.

Momma Flower 🌸 and the baby squashes had their vet check and vaccines appointment yesterday
Momma Flower loves a lap and Dr Park was happy to oblige 💜
Flower is adoptable, 5-6 year old chihuahua rat terrier mix, 12lbs. Great with all people and children. No cats! prefers home as only dog but can live with others after slow introductions and time. She is scheduled to be spayed Jan 5th. Fully vaccinated and microchipped, on flea and tick prevention.

Update: Riley has been adopted!

Gorgeous Mr Riley lost his person tragically. He has been taken in by a kind friend but they can’t keep him. Riley needs a foster and a new forever home 🏠
Riley is a neutered, male Shepard mix, about 4 years old. He is great with other dogs. Loves to go for adventures and is very affectionate.
